You said you should have just done it right the first time regarding the hobie screw in attachments. You show a picture of it done right. Can't find a video of how you did that?
So what you can do is either fill those with JB weld or a plastic bond and let them dry within 24 hrs. Drill them out at a smaller diameter of the screw and tap them or just thread them with the screw you are going to use. Most hardware stores will have the correct drill bit and tap for the size screw you want to use. Hope that helps out!
great idea on mounting the h-rails. I'm about to install the pro angler h-rail kit to my Hobie compass. may have to add some to the bow too. Why didn't you decide on red and green lights? multi-purpose nav lights
Funny you ask I actually did have it set up with red and green at first, but our state law doesn't require them for night time on a non motorized kayak. So I just swapped it out for another green light to attract bait fish.
@@WormTV is that a known fact that green lights attract bait fish? Or is that just based off your own personal experience. Same laws apply for me here in San Diego, NAV lights aren’t needed on non-motorized vessels under 25 ft in length. Just need a flashlight handy for emergency.
