It's ridiculously mind-blowing to break down the rule of 100 into a day: just 18 minutes. And you'll be better than 95% of the world. Just 18 minutes a day. Thanks for sharing with us!
Your video is absolutely stellar! I'm Emmanuel, currently living in Quebec, Canada - the second largest French-speaking province in the world after France. After relocating here and beginning my studies at McGill University, I encountered significant challenges due to the language barrier. Despite English being my first language, my lack of French proficiency has hindered my ability to secure the professional job I desire. This experience underscores how crucial communication skills are and how relying solely on one language can be insufficient.
Bonjour :) je suis moi-même Québécoise and learned English as a second language. You must know that even if your French isn't great, you need to power through and almost demand yo be served in French, even if your knowledge isn't great. By putting yourself in everyday situations like when ordering at the restaurant, not only you will practice, but you will also gain respect of other people and your peers. Tu peux le faire :)
I just want to say Ruri you have grown so much, I remember following you from when you were just a few months old and loving your content, im proud of all you have accomplished thus far🥰
Your videos is so inspiring every time! That part about feeling like a loser is so true 😅 I lost count how many time I gave up at something thinking I'm not good enough and then just to come back to try again and again
The fact that you come back and try again says a lot with the personality you have and I can see that you have a resilient and tenacious mind. Keep on going!
I always try my best to continue to improve my English and a lot of native English speakers have told me that not only do they feel that I have good English but because of my mindset to always look for improvement, they said that I will surpass many native English speakers just because many of them are already content with the vocabulary that they have at their disposal and so they stay there, in contrast to me who always look to learn more. I listen to interviews from youtube mostly that's when I learn the best and also interacting with people who speak English to put what I learned to use :) I don't always have much to add to your content but yeah keep up the good work Ruri! Take care and much love to you all!
Thank you for all of your help! I watch you because i started re-learning Japanese last August then i ran into the rest of your videos. You are so inspiring and i admire your consistency and dedication to your channel! ❤❤❤
You almost hit 1M subs congrats Ruri! I love languages but I often give up because I don't find irl people with the same passion of mine. Plus, I'm not surrounded by people that speak my target languages and I ask myself "should I learn skills that are more worth it? Is my passion "stupid" compared to others?" Many times I say to myself that I've not been able to make a living from my hobbies and passions. Often I even neglect my passions because I reckon others to be more "useful". Need to learn listening to myself
this is a sign, im currently learning Japanese and you always give me tips ive never heard or seen before, i will do my best to always Support this channel!

Great video! Finding time to learn a language while working can be challenging, but it's definitely possible. I appreciate the tips you shared, like utilizing breaks, commuting time, and creating a consistent schedule. It's all about prioritizing and being consistent. Thanks for the helpful advice!
How to make time for language learning with a full time job? Actually balancing language learning with a full-time job can be very challenging, but with proper planning & dedication, it is certainly possible. Here are some strategies to help you make time for language learning:- 1. Set some realistic goals: Determine what you want to achieve in your language learning journey & set specific, achievable goals. Having clear objectives will help you stay motivated & focused. 2.Create a schedule: Plan dedicated time for language learning in your daily or weekly schedule. Identify pockets of time that you can consistently allocate for learning, such as early mornings, evenings, or weekends. 3. Prioritize & eliminate distractions: Evaluate your daily activities & dentify areas where you can save time. Minimize or eliminate non-essential activities that consume your time, such as excessive TV watching or scrolling through social media. Prioritize language learning during those saved hours. 4. Utilize commuting time: If you commute to work, utilize that time for language learning. Listen to language learning podcasts, audiobooks, or use language learning apps during your commute. This way, you can make the most of the time that would otherwise be spent idle. 5. Break down learning sessions: Instead of trying to find large blocks of time, break down your language learning sessions into smaller, more manageable chunks. Even 15-30 minutes of focused learning each day can make a significant difference over time. 6. Incorporate language learning into your daily routine: Find ways to integrate language learning into your daily activities. For example, change your phone or computer settings to the target language, label items in your house with their corresponding foreign language names, or practice speaking the language while doing household chores. 7. Use online resources & apps: Take advantage of language learning resources available online & mobile apps that allow you to learn on the go. Platforms like Duolingo, Memrise, Babbel, or FluentU offer interactive lessons & exercises that can be accessed anytime. 8. Find language exchange partners: Connect with native speakers or language exchange partners who are learning your native language. Schedule regular language exchange sessions where you can practice speaking and improve your skills. 9.Stay motivated: Keep your motivation high by reminding yourself of your language learning goals & the benefits it will bring. Celebrate small achievements along the way to maintain enthusiasm and track your progress. 10. Be consistent: Consistency is key when learning a language. Aim for regular, consistent practice rather than occasional intense study sessions. Even if you can only devote a few minutes each day, the cumulative effect will make a difference. Remember, learning a language is a long-term process, so be patient and enjoy the journey. With consistent effort & effective time management, you can successfully balance language learning with your full-time job. 🤍❤ all your videos #RURI👍
I clicked on this video not because I lack motivation :) I use your videos as a tool for learning English. It's my third language and your videos are great listening practice 🎉

Ruri for the next video, you had asked regarding the title of the video. I think you should go for the title: "You're not undisciplined: the real secret to staying 98% productive". I started following your videos due to your video titles and the content. It resonated with me. I think most of your audience prefers your touch to the videos. Like your take on things. Just my 2 cents. Thank you for the content you make. :)
Thank you, Ruri! , this video really opened my eyes once again to the perspective of language learning. Once again, thank you so much. Keep going and inspiring us!
as one of the worst students in my childhood/teenager years i can say, truer words have never been spoken. i needed to catch up with a lot of things in my life, but due to consistency and feeling bad about a lot of life choices i eventually stayed on some sort of "consistent" path and became a software developer with a masters degree, but the journey didn't end there. Work life in software development is a daily struggle on improving yourself while your environment changes around you as well... and i still feel like the worst developer from time to time. 13 years in now and still learning new things every day while catching up with other topics to learn. Reminds me i should start learning a new "real" language again :)
It's so great that you give us a lot of informations by this way So thank you so much. And keep going to encourage us i had promised that i will work in every section that you have spoken on . Thanks 🙏

I believe to be success not only by hardworking but by pray for Him. Many people said the success of President E.R.D.O.G.A.N not only because he pray 5 times a day, but he wake up in every night to pray to God. While many people slept. He pray and crying in remembrance of Allah Azzawajal. His tears and cry are invoked by sincerity, humility, obedience, tranquility and fear of Allah( Khushoo). Many people said his dua/pray will listen and accepted by God. Also many people said President E.R.D.O.G.A.N is wali Allah. He has a Karama (a form of miracle) refers to supernatural wonders performed by saints. In the technical vocabulary of Islamic religious sciences, the singular form karama has a sense similar to charism, a favor or spiritual gift freely bestowed by God. And many people said his dua/pray will listen and approved by God.

Thank you, Ruri! , this video really opened my eyes once again to the perspective of language learning. Once again, thank you so much. Keep going and inspiring us!
When I heard your voice makes me happy look a beatiful girl trying ti change the metality toxic to became a health mentality ❤🛐✌🏻
as one of the worst students in my childhood/teenager years i can say, truer words have never been spoken. i needed to catch up with a lot of things in my life, but due to consistency and feeling bad about a lot of life choices i eventually stayed on some sort of "consistent" path and became a software developer with a masters degree, but the journey didn't end there. Work life in software development is a daily struggle on improving yourself while your environment changes around you as well... and i still feel like the worst developer from time to time. 13 years in now and still learning new things every day while catching up with other topics to learn. Reminds me i should start learning a new "real" language again :)
I've doubt but after watching this video I feel so relieve. Consistency beats Talent!. Please continue making more videos.

In order to learn a language effectively, you need to surround yourself with it, or communicate with native speakers, this is the easiest and fastest way (provided that you know a minimum)
Best way is to have a job where people speak your target language. Easiest way I learned Spanish.
