Dude you can drink in Saudi, at the hotel. Uber to stadium and put your drink in a large green tango bottle and chug in the stadium. It only becomes a problem if you go crazy and doing mad things.

It was great boxing. It was terrible atmosphere. Both things can be true. 200 Saudis are not going to compete with an 80,000 crowd at Wembley. We understand these fights are only happening with because of the money from Saudi. But there is a cost to that and to not recognise it is just silly. Let's hope they do more of this stuff and work on injecting some bigger crowds.

It was a fantastic night of boxing that totally lived up to expectations. Nick Ball for me was the stand out performance and thoroughly deserved his win. Regardless of what Frank says I have to agree with Carl Froch. There were so many empty seats which was disappointing for fights of that magnitude. The stadium was like a library and as for the Arab’s ringside, they spent more time looking at their phones than watching the fights. The true Geordie did a live podcast from the stadium which wouldn’t have been possible in the UK because of the noise. Saudi maybe the new capital of boxing but the fights need moving elsewhere which Turki might understand if he goes to AJ’s next fight at Wembley.

Froch is absolutely right about the lack of atmosphere, the arena was three quarters empty until the main event, plus most the Saudi locals in the front rows spent most their time looking at their phones. Most of these fights would have filled decent size UK venues as main events.
