I absolutely love this scene, but the way it’s described in the novel was way better. There was no fight. No battle. Just communicating. Irina dying was the only violence that happened. Oh, and Edward getting hurt by Jane. Also in the book, we learn that Aro has much respect for science and new things.
Yes , and in the book is more descriptions about the wives from the Volturi and they have shields to and and what role they play . It's a shame the books don't continue .....Aro would definitely try to get hold of Reneesme again or damage the cullens.... he wouldn't let this loss sit on him....he often made plans and intrigue to get special vampires
Honestly, the book's ending was f ckn boring. The "non-existent" battle and the twist in the movie was very well crafted, it was the reward for ALL the build up made by the movie's story itself.
I never read the books. So the movie ending is all I knew. Was some twist when it all turned out to be a vision. Hearing about how it ended in the books doesn’t sound as good to me.
I want it to be known, around the WORLD, that I suffered through this damn movie just because, as a DEVOTED fan of Michael Sheen I was compelled to watch his performance. That laugh makes up for the 5 hours or whatever of my life I will never get back. Every time I hear it my body does this funky, involuntary movement. Like when the doctor taps your knee with his little hammer? His laugh does the same thing but straight to the spot where brain and spine meet.
They should have let Alec use his powers so that the movie showed why the Volturi halted the attack. No one has defied the witch twins' abilities until Bella and that is something the volturi has not prepared for.

Trouble starts, BOOM, all the volturi are now on cracked ice and soon underwater. And then Jasper, concealed at the water's edge, opens fire with the sniper rifle loaded with incendiary ammunition.
I loved how in this movie Aro aknowles that modern human weaponry could destroy vampires so they need to keep their existence in secret. In the books not even a fucking nuclear blast can harm them and that's bullshit, actually.

I always admired the fact that Bella became a shield. Its what they needed, a power thanmt is incredibly important for her and her lived ones survival.
In the book, the Volturi make complete jackasses of themselves. Bella's shield can block not only Janez but Alec as well. Their murder of Irina makes them look bad and Garrett gives speech that makes the witnesses realize that something is wrong. Aro is looking DESPERATELY for a way out as he doesnt want any bad rumors about the Volturi. He counsels with the others to buy time until Alice showed up.
The only thing I did not like about Bella‘s power was the fact she had a stand there to do it. You know what I mean she couldn’t move around and help fight. That was the only issue I had with her power or her gift but other than that, I thought the movies are good.
It takes concentration she doesn’t have while having to focus on battle. It was either one or the other. Like remember she only had a very short time to even learn how to project her abilities
I think in time when she learned to harness her gift & it developed more she would be able to move while she used it. At this point she was still learning how to use it.
I love the Twilight Saga but I love the last one out of all because it shows that fellow feels more confident as vampire and I love her and Edward as parents even though it's shown for only a couple minutes in the movie you can really see that she cares for her family and feels a lot more confident even though the fight was fake I loved it so much because it shows that fellow with a threat to Arrow from when they first meant to now.
I always wondered if they had a vampire that can let you see anything including blinding you then why not just blind jane and the others. Love this movie twilight breaking dawn part 2 my favourite one. Love vampire Bella. I wish she knew how to fight more cause she still needs to be protected by Emmet and Bella they will come for her because she will be protecting others from Jane's power basically making Jane useless so they will go after Bella. I wish she was able to use her powers and fight. Jane is very powerful but is nothing without her powers she always relied on her powers Never learned to fight I guess she never felt like she needed to but not until now. Jane is gorgeous though. Yeah. Jane never learned to fight because she's got Alec protecting her, plus she's always by Aro's side - one of the formidable force. Alice on the Cullen's side was also a force to go against cause of her structure. The gathering was a match for the Volturi, and Aro feared decimation of his entourage, hence he called peace.

Honestly, the book's ending was f ckn boring. The "non-existent" battle and the twist in the movie was very well crafted, it was the reward for ALL the build up made by the movie's story itself.

In the book, the Volturi make complete jackasses of themselves. Bella's shield can block not only Janez but Alec as well. Their murder of Irina makes them look bad and Garrett gives speech that makes the witnesses realize that something is wrong.
Aro is looking DESPERATELY for a way out as he doesnt want any bad rumors about the Volturi. He counsels with the others to buy time until Alice showed up.
The only thing I did not like about Bella‘s power was the fact she had a stand there to do it. You know what I mean she couldn’t move around and help fight. That was the only issue I had with her power or her gift but other than that, I thought the movies are good.
I like to hope that like Kate developed her power that one day Bella could use her shield and fight.

I love the Twilight Saga but I love the last one out of all because it shows that fellow feels more confident as vampire and I love her and Edward as parents even though it's shown for only a couple minutes in the movie you can really see that she cares for her family and feels a lot more confident even though the fight was fake I loved it so much because it shows that fellow with a threat to Arrow from when they first meant to now.
