@@carvedfromlife8949 And what exactly is Joe Rogan not good at that you are referring too? If it is his Podcast, he doesn't force the 100s of millions of people to watch it every week. There is no one to bribe there. And he started it himself in his home many years ago, and it grew from there. If it is his UFC Commentary, he is a Martial Arts expert, and I believe a former Taekwondo Champion. Have you ever seen him train and fight. Also, he is a stand-up comedian and has been doing it for a long time successfully. And he has acted in sitcoms in the past, like the successful 1995 NewsRadio where he played Joe the Maintenance man, and he hosted the show successful Fear Factor.
You must really not like Joe Rogan to use him in your comment. What did he do or say that makes you hate him so much? Is it his objection to Trans women in female sport, or his refusal to take the Covid vaccine? Are you jealous of the success he has carved from life?
He was not born in luxury or among Hollywood elite or celebrities. His Parents divorced young, and his mum married a hippie. Grew up in Boston. SO, any connections he had, he made himself, and making it big in the entertainment business is not easy, when you have no relatives in it, especially in the USA. B-Dancing in Australia is not very popular and huge in numbers or even mainstream.
There is no comparison. I think you may be as delulu as Raygun.

People need to stop calling her delusional. This was all very calculated and deliberate. She also gamed the Au tax system by making her journey to the olympics part of her 'breakdancing thesis' to get tax funding for her expenses (it's very expensive to attend qualifying events in Au since breakdancing isn't a sponsored sport here). She also IMMEDIATELY jumped on tv shows and media deals that were throwing bags of cash at her after all this and started pushing the 'sexism' narrative along with her coach to divert attention from the corruption.
We have nurses, first responders and teachers begging for pay rises and funding to improve work conditions. At the very least this person should be investigated by the tax office and fined

Nothing against her competing in local competitions and cyphers etc. as beginners should also have fun, but with her level of skill I was so surprised when I heard she is going to Olympics. Someone should have sat her down and tell her she prolly shouldn't be going (as the Kiwi judge said she will get rekt). Right now I train and compete in a sport that is also at the Olympics at an amateur level - but I don't try to join any pro competitions because 1. got no chance, 2. See judging a battle depends on a lot of things. Not just who is spinning more or faster. It depends upon musicality, execution, confidence, originality, dynamics and a few other personal criteria for different judge. Flow and form are very important things which fall under execution. As much as I loved Sui and wanted her to win she actually crashed twice during her round. Moreover whatever moves she did might be difficult for non breakers but those are foundational power moves, which to say isnt actually original. And her toprock form was very very amateur. Whereas raygun's dancing was a bit more original even though very basic. Also raygun didnt crash because her moves were piss easy and her tops had better form than Sui. Please dont come at me I hate raygun too 😂 But had i been the judge I would have gone for a tie breaker round.

This was by design. From what others have said, there was very little notice for the qualifiers and was made confusing with a lot of red tape that prevented a lot of people from registering. Only those already part of Ausbreaking like Raygun and her husband were ready to enter the qualifiers such that they weren't even able to fill all 16 of the qualifier slots. Ausbreaking was created in 2019 after they found out breakdancing would be at the Paris Olympics and feels very much like it was created for the purpose of getting certain people to the Olympics. Most of the actual breakdancers are not part of this community.
