    Very helpful thanks. I am confused, does a "construct" have the same meaning as a "latent variable"?

      It's simply looking for causality between variables or indirect effects on results. e.i. the relationship between sharpened skates and winning a game in hockey or the softness of soles on basketball shoes and winning a basketball game.

    Great short, informative video! Very inspiring as I am trying the apply this methodology to bridge concepts in clinimetrics & psychometrics in the field of rheumatology, where this is not common practice.
