Tie the rope to balli with 't ' shape structure in such way,so that balli will be straight parallel to ground by making loop of rope and fix one of balli so that balli in equal height and then place plank above balli it provides support and fix the back portion of plank with small balli plavcing below back 't'like projection and it will stop the plank when force applied in front.
