Loved the game Hideo. I've lost a child and this game really struck a nerve for me many times.. I thank you so much for making this. The whole world could learn from your genius. The story speaks to me in so many different way I can't describe. I'm honestly not surprised there's such a divisive opinion about this game. Some people just don't understand. You have to have lived through some kind of hardship to truly understand this game.
I don't think it's an issue with not understanding the game, or needing the requirement of having "lived through some kind of hardship". But it's good that you were able to get the experiences you had out of it

I guess i value life a little more than I did. I think the game has some underlying metaphors for how the real world is headed or already is now. We are all so connected yet so distant.. I think its all up for interpretation as many of hideo's games are... very confusing and cryptic as always. thanks for the comment though.. maybe i should go finish my second playthrough and see how i feel then :D
After playing the game and seeing the story. I’m so glad Kojima got these wonderful actors. Such amazing performances that made this feel like a movie.
To think that they even got Hollywood actors to play in this game really surprised me. I mean like how? Not saying that it’s impossible or anything but it’s not like everyday you get famous actors in videogames. Especially Lea Seydoux because she seems like an actor who is selective with movies. Idk what convinced these actors to even act in this game. Money could be one thing but even the script has to be appealing to some actors. Haven’t played the game but from what I’ve seen on TH-cam there’s 9 freakin hours of cut scenes?? That’s damn long for a triple A game and pretty long for some actors. Hope it means there’s enough screen time for each of these characters. All in all it’s really impressive and congrats to Kojima
DROID POOL the screen time is respectable to the actors and the story. It’s incredibly emotional and each ones performance complimented the others. A movie wouldn’t do it justice, it needed to be a game
