I know this is very late, but if you want to have a way to make the inside of the box fort warmer, I’d recommend using 4-6 survival blankets and taping them to the walls of the inside of the box fort so it stays warm and cozy inside the fort. Also, incase the fire does ever get out of control, be sure to bring water, salt, and baling soda to make fire extinguishing foam.

Hey Jake I️ have a design for ur next box fort just in case if it’s snowing or raining.
So the idea is to make the roof like a triangle shape like some traditional roofs. This would be good so if a snow or rain were to go on the roof it would just roll off the roof and it won’t cave in and destroy everything.
