You should do a video on your shop setup it looks really interesting.
I'm going to be buying an Ameribrade here soon. I like it a lot, their accessories seem good, and it's the best value that I've found. There are two other brands I've considered as well, but they're more expensive and don't seem to offer more than Ameribrade. I also like that you can put your Ameribrade together without welding a single thing. I know how to weld, tool classes for it in college, but I don't own a welder so it's not an option for me.
Thank you for a great informational video! I look forward to owning an Ameribrade!
You are welcome. I love mine. It’s a great tool to be sure. Incredible customer service. Still going strong. Use it every day.
Great review of a fantastic product. I've never dealt with a better bunch of people.
I just bought the same set up with the 3 hp motor, it’s on the way and I’m excited after watching this video! Thanks it was very informative.
Yeah. You won’t be disappointed. Mine has been flawless. Seriously.
What difference does the size of the wheel make?
Larger the wheel, The less deep the angle for the grind of the bevel. 14 is pretty big so you have a very long vertical stretch that gets ground off.
Iam an aspiring knifemaker-you stated you considered 2 other brands -whicy ones were they?--i am considering broadbeck ,ametibrade and obm
I considered one from the midwest cannot remember the name but they are no longer making grinders. They make stuff for the government. Otherwise - I was considering OBM. The Ameribrade was such a complete package and I really liked the stand a lot. Great customer service. Good people to do business with.
There's also housemade. Just to throw another brand out there. They seem really good, but they don't sell you the motor or controller as part of the package, they give you places to buy them separately. You also have to do some welding to put it together.
