Unfortunately this is the best possible outcome for her, but it is better than pushing her down the hole hence "saving". Ninnie is also called the shy woman before you learn her name.
I was always slightly disappointed when Lillie reached the (alleged) bottom of DIS and the void lords offered her anything, and she struggled to think of anything. Like, Ninnie? You don't remember her? Don't have any wishes for her to make it out of here??
I think the void sucks out memories and it's possible she can't remember her. It's very bitter because you could see it as Lillie being depressed while the song is playing afterwards, and by the time it stops she has completely forgotten.

I've actually tested this, tried it both with a Cif statue and on a different run with a brand warp (thanks, B227!) Tail's appearance and dialogue are both unchanged :(
@@QJrocksgiven unchanged tail + the lack of dialogue from lillie after ninnie goes boulder, my headcanon she immediately forgets ninnie after this happens which is even more fucked
@@simonh5004 It's not shown in this video, but if you see this sequence through to its end, the rest of Lev's domain plays Ninnie's theme (the one that plays at 17:37), with all game sound effects muted. It's a bit similar to Gray's VOIDED sequence, in that manner. I chose to interpret it as a brief moment for Lillie to process everything that happened. Still wish we got *something* from Tail, but it is what it is.
Had to speed it up in some places to get the video length to be reasonable. This footage was from my first run of NG+ so I was being super slow on some of the levels
No, but this was my first time doing this segment so I wanted to be extra careful. As long as she has a clear path to the stairs (indicated by the cheering animation) you'll be fine.
@@unjike_ I remember i was voided on my first playthrough but on a second run i am pretty sure i got there unvoided (perhaps i was voided before and reset the run tho, maybe that stops her from appearing still even if i get there unvoided)
@@DasDing186 Resetting via Cif's idol/totem (all-dark with four bright eyes) does NOT restore NPCs or reset other content you've already interacted with (collected memory crystals, void lord sisters' scenes, boss fights, trees), other than puzzles/items, so it's locked until you actually hard-reset by dying and refusing to accept the fruit. It means that merely removing Voided status is not enough, it won't fix your screw ups with any of the NPCs (if you didn't save them or didn't interact with them properly, completely exhausting their dialogues before leaving the room or jumping via locust/scarab idom/totem of Bee's), so you really need to start over, but since you'll have unlocked brand of Lillie's, you just input that at the beginning, skipping Gray's part, if you wish.

Is there a certain requirement to get her to pop up? I've been through this room with Lilie multiple times and never seen her
I believe the only requirement is that you can't be voided.
