I first heard the song on THE USHANKA SHOW. I was a College Student during the Gorbachev years. I am a child of the cold war. My parents were Cuban exiles who fled in 1960. I watched events in the USSR when I began to follow politics in High School. I remember the launch of the BURAN Space Shuttle in 1988. Take off to landing completely by on-board computer. The news media kidded the Kremlin " the workers state has automated the working class out of existence ". In retrospect it was a bad omen.

Just to be clear I don't want the USSR back and I'm not really thrilled with Russia right now, though honestly when have I ever been? But I really like your song and it made me cry and I found it on Ushanka show And then I went to your website to copy the lyrics so I could put them on my Facebook wall because I'm on an Android device and they will not copy from the TH-cam app.
