Quite a number of reviews on Google stating that the parking lot at the National Aisle is literally empty when they wanted to pick up the cars. Had to wait 1-2 hours. Flying to YVR in June, hopefully things will be better than =/

During Covid and peak holiday weekends in the summer for sure that has happened at any of the rental agencies. They have been slowly expanding their fleet as the chip and new car shortages have become less of an issue. It’s night and day difference with national now finding the aisles full of new cars.

- BMW X3, Audi Q3, Cadillac XT4, BMW X5, Audi Q5, Cadillac XT5

Hi, thank you for your videos, they helped me a lot last summer when I rented a Model Y in YVR. quick question, how difficult is to find cars with winter tires in december? I will travel to Calgary and Vancouver airports. Thank you!

Thanks for watching. Some national locations like YYZ will let you reserve a vehicle with winter tires. All cars in Quebec must have winter tires over the winter. Otherwise it depends where you are going if you can get by without them as many SUVs will have AWD if you are mostly in city areas where the roads will be cleared.
