Kat, I graduated yesterday and received my FA wings with a regional airline. I followed your video advice. Thank you! I turn 56 during my OE next week. You are inspiring. Thanks for being openly devoted to your husband/marriage. I made my husband watch some of your videos and it made him feel more secure about my decision. I know sharing parts of your life is intrusive but do know you youch other's lives in a positive way. I hope to see you on one of my flights non revving to a cool place to relax. Thanks again for doing the extra work to share your journey. Lisa
I can watch Kat all day and just be captivated. You know how to capture an audience attention because I never want your videos to end. I’m going to Italy soon and I can’t wait to try out their grocery.
Truly one of your best videos yet. Informative, fun, well shot, and love how much you are able to get in your foldable shopping bag! You've really perfected your filming and are super engaging with your viewers. Happy travels ✈️
The grocery bag was giving Mary poppins bag😂 I was like how did she fit all of that in there 😂😂I grew up in Tokyo so I’m loving these Japan videos! It’s reminding me of my childhood!
Aw Kat, your cheeks are adorable and they will keep you looking for younger than your actual age for a long, long time. Maybe try placing your blush a little higher, and not extending your concealer down as far, and see if you like how that looks.
Kat, you are one the most positive people on youtube. I love watching your videos. When I am struggling with my health, I watch your videos because they are so relaxing. Thankyou for all the work that you put into your videos.

Great video Kat. I cannot believe how much you shopped. You are so sweet getting your nieces such cute gifts. Loved going sightseeing with you, especially the cherry blossoms. 💖🇨🇦
That’s our Yakuza girl! It is a joy to see how you tell stories about yourself with a laugh that less self-confident folks would die of embarrassment from.
Kat my wife Candace Boles of 6 years passed away at the age of 42 on April 7th she was a huge fan of yours, she loved loved watching your videos and buying your makeup, when you make another video can you give her a shout out, she was cremated😢😢
I ❤ your channel! You’re spontaneous and unique. I love to hear about your travels and explanations. Do not feel like you have to change and do not allow negativity from people distract from who you are. ❤
Wow that was an awesome trip! I love watching your travels & living vicariously thru you. I like watching videos with tiny Japanese apartments too. Japan is a beautiful place. Thank you for sharing!
I used to have Narita layovers ALOT. I had fun going to AEON mall and the village of Narita is pretty. The Temple is so beautiful especially during cherry blossom time!
One thing I know is that there are ALOT of envious people out there. Don't listen to them...my mom always says that people who are mean and say mean things didn't have their diapers changed when they were babies...were just stuck with wet diapers. That's why so they're mean. Makes sense to me!😂 You are lovely and beautiful.😀
I love Narita san temple. I was lucky enough to stay at the Ryokan across the road from the temple a few years ago. It was absolutely magical listening to the monks chanting. I have just gotten back home from our visit for this Sakura season and can’t wait to get back again.
OMG Kat that's so crazy I just tried the MUJI white chocolate coated strawberries here in the UK and they were incredible! Now I know I need to try the matcha coated ones! I didn't see them in the London store. I also tried the coconut cubes coated in chocolate but they weren't as good as I'd hoped.
About Don Quijote, an english speaker, trying to pronounce a Spanish name, while in a country that speaks japanease, talking about how multi culture. I really enjoyed this trip!!! Hope you get new international places soon! Hugs from Santiago,Chile
I was a professor in Japan, and did the long flights to Canada twice or so. If I were you, I'd go to a conbini, and get a bento box to freeze to take for the long flight home. You can put them in an oven, even though they are takeaway. Or if you have a microwave that works, too. And sandwiches. I'd get many more sandwiches. I used to find it fussy, but now I miss Japanese food.
I have a suggestion for covering your tattoos. I got some "arm warmer" sleeves on Shien for super cheap and they basically go from my elbow to wrist and I wear them when I go running as they're easier to remove than a second shirt, but they also would cover my tattoos if I needed to! They're made of like a stretchy t-shirt material, so they're quite breathable. Sometimes they are sold as "sunscreen sleeves". They're so small you can keep them tucked into your suitcase. Hope that helps!
It's so funny with the 'kiwi' thing (I'm from NZ) - we call ourselves 'Kiwis', and when we buy the fruit, we call it 'kiwifruit' - my favourite is the gold (can't stand the green ones), but also liking the new ruby kiwifruit - so yum! That's pretty much all my fruit intake right now - ❤ kiwifruit season (autumn/winter)
Great video Kat as always, Ume is Japanese for plums and if you see umeboshi they are sour plums. I am envious of Japan as they have a whole range of Kitkat flavours we don't and they do all sorts of regional flavours. And to be over there in cherry blossom season is always a bonus as they so pretty to look at.
Hi Kat, I absolutely love the cherry blossom trees in Tokyo. The Temple was really cool to see, and the food you bought looked delicious. Have a nice weekend
Japan is my favorite country to visit. Haven't made it out to Naritasan yet, bucket list temple. Absolutely beautiful in cherry blossom season. You hit a bunch of my favorite foods too: egg sandwich, umeshu (plum wine) kit kats, shokupan (milk bread), the korroke (if they only had potato) or menchi katsu (if it was meat and potato). And if it helps, the Japanese shorten Don Quijote to Donki. Thanks for bringing us along on your adventures.
Love the Quai thank you for telling us about this. I love you sharing your trips and it’s so cool to be able to see different places. You are amazing. Please keep sharing.❤
Have never wanted to go to Japan till I watched this. Also your bag at the end was like Mary Poppins magic bag, I didn't think stuff was ever gonna stop coming out lol.
Het Kat, whatt a lovely and inspiring video you have shared with us😊. I loved the japanese music starting about 14 minutes. Could you share the link to that please?
Hi Kat! So happy for you that you were able to pick up this NRT trip! l❤ getting Japanese food! I saw that you picked up a lot of my favorite snacks 😋 😍 I hope you and your family enjoy them. We have a mini store here on island called Tokyo mart that carries those food, but nothing beats getting them fresh, so glad you got the chance to! Hope you pick up another trip to go there! Warm regards all the way from 🇬🇺 Guam!
Ok …. We have to some how be related ! Because When my family laughs we ….. SNORT it’s truly hilarious we sound like baby pigs, wanting to nurse and when you laugh you sound just like us❤❤ So welcome to the family😂😂😂
Kat dont listen to haters you are a great person and you are a wonderful and a funny person I've watched you since day one one of a favorite shows on TH-cam your the best day to chip
I have distant relatives in Japan, one of these days, must visit. Try the mochi, it's not super sweet. Also get a Manekineko, fetching cat. (For good luck)
Great video Kat! I visited Tokyo with my parents in the 70’s as a teenager,( it definitely has Time Square vibes about it). I couldn’t believe how much food you pulled out of your black bag! 😂
Oh yeah, in Japan you can get some good food at 7-11, Lawson or Family Mart. Interesting 7-11 is a Japanese owned company, our you get a hotdog of questionable lineage and coffee. They typically use cherry tomatoes for their bento boxes. I did a bit of research as I was slated for a business trip to Tokyo, ended up going to Sydney instead. They have so many flavors of KitKat, the person who went in my place brought back like 10 different flavors of KitKat.
Hey, Katt, you're awesome! I've been watching your videos for a long time. I don't have a problem with the audio. I love seeing that backdrop. I also love seeing you go on all your adventures! I love seeing the different places you go, keep being you and don't ever change! Come out to up north Wisconsin sometime!!
You make me want to go back to Narita ❤ I liked it better thank Tokyo!!! I still have my cherry blossom 🌸 phone charm!!! There foods better do to no chemicals 🤷♀️
Ohhh, girl, nothing wrong with a good tub of cherry tomatoes! I have my office day for work on a Wednesday and I'm the weird one spending the day scarfing a tub of cherry tomatoes at the desk, much to the amusement of my colleagues lol
If you really like the Matcha iri Genmaicha that you bought in Japan you can order it from Harney & Son's in the states because I order it from them. i was introduce to Genmaicha by a customer that I had when I worked as a barista.
You don't have any smile lines and you have a beautiful smile. Whoever left that comment can go kick rocks. Right before I saw the notification of your video my friend was just tell me that her son was getting ready to study abroad in Japan. I am going to Load debit cards so that when he is shopping for his mom, he can buy me one and I will even pay for the shipping. What a beautiful career and creating memories.
However, you're right about Ouai. I needed to switch up products since my hair gets complacent if I don't, but my hair smells amazing. Rarely do I like recommendations but 😊. Sort of got a few things from them so we will see how it goes.
I'm sure it's not the closest to you, but there are a number of Japanese stores around US-75 & Legacy in Plano, so if there is some Japanese product you can't live without, you might find it there. They even have a Mitsuwa. I suspect there was a demand because of the Toyota US headquarters.
Kat!! I am early! I love your content! I flew to MCO in December last year i was hoping to see you on the way back in DFW I didn’t. But you are the best and i love your makeup products! You matter! Keep being you!

Right? Our girl just kept pulling stuff out of that bag, and her co-worker apparently shopped a lot more.😂
I thought the same 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I absolutely loved seeing all the food that you purchased. That's always one of my favorite things to watch you do in other countries.
Hi Kat, I live in Korea. That 'steamer' is actually a dehumidifier. It gets incredibly humid this side in summer. Hope you enjoyed your trip!

Outstanding video. This was one of your best in introducing your viewers to a city! Cinematically it was fabulous!
Love your vlogs & fun sense of humor and adventure. Is is hard to haul all your purchases back home. You had a ton of items.
Careful with the xylitol; for many it tends to have a laxative effect.
Also VERY dangerous for dogs.
