At $200 these need to be at their competition’s performance level especially considering how well theirs and others much lower priced options are such high performers. Mics sound great.
Anker is very smart because they know if they can master quality for a cheap price they can really nail it with a slightly increased price or more advanced model. What I don't get is how the hell anker can include hi res, dolby, and ldac on cheaper headphones, yet Bose cant even give the QC ultra those features. Btw are these out now? Not seeing at best buy
Great review... I would just like to ask about the sound quality when wired. How do they sound? Is there any difference in sound between wired vs wireless modes?... Most of your reviews regarding Headphones with both options only mention sound quality via wireless mode. Just as a suggestion. Thanks for the content!
At the end of the day, i gotta see what flossy has to say..lol. These soundcore headphones are known for having high bass and high treble and that’s it
@RockyLofeudo999 technical analysis helps you to identify if it suits your use case without having physically wearing them, what if you buy them and hate them? Kind of ignorant saying who cares when not everyone can afford to spend multiple hundreds of dollars
You can turn the volume all the way up and it’s not super loud? The case is a pouch and no wear sensors? What is soundcore doing? The Q35s were some of the best low cost headphones ever and they seem to just be going backwards.
@@arress20529:20 "not saying these don't get loud" 9:32 "for most people it'll be fine, they do get plenty loud" even in the review you watch he emphasizes these are loud. I imagine they're better in most cases to the q45. But they're lacking the same premium treatment and as some people have mentioned the smart sensor isn't here unlike the regular "One".
Great review, Keith. :) How do you think these compare to the Earfun Wave Pros? I see that they're much more expensive, so I would expect the noise cancelling would be better, but I'm wondering if the difference would be significant.
The opinions on these are mixed between the different channels and that makes me nervous. You didn't talk about the EQ shift that effects the sound when going from ANC on to off. It's a big difference and a deal breaker for me. Thanks for the review. 💯🇺🇸
@@adaml.5355 Makes sense. The thing for me is some of their products are great and worth every penny and I've enjoyed them thoroughly! But it's difficult to separate the "wheat from the chaff" when reviewers praise them all equally.
Sometimes Bose and Sony get a bit too much credit over other ANC headphones and earphones. As an owner of literally all of them including the ACE by Sonos, it also depends on what you are listening to or if you are listening to anything at all. Watching this in Samsung Galaxy Buds3 Pro and cannot hear a single thing external.
This is what I call A Balanced Product, very well balanced in Price, Quality & approach, and a very well-designed product. I expect this from Sennheiser but they are continuously failing, they have the best sound in the market but they just don't have well-designed products, and always have some issues. on the other this pair has a single bummer is missing sensors, Soundcore is becoming the next Sony.
Good review as always. I have been on the fence with either thebspace one or i think q45. I see for these i would wonder about the longevity of the headband. You gove a lot to think about.
Have you tried the mics on actual calls since you filmed this as I have seen other reviewers say the mics are not as good and their mic tests made these sound gross
Have the Space Q45s and they sound great especially with HearID, BUT after about a year and a half the faux leather they are using for the ear cups and headband started to peel off leaving tiny shreds like dandruff all over the place. Wish they had better quality materials since the plastic casing also feels cheap and hollow (albiet light). I couldn't get an answer on whether I could get the ear cups repaired or replaced on warranty either. Wish they went with a sleeker design instead of the tech look for the new model.
Screw ALL "smart" features on headphones and earbuds. Every time I see anything mentioning smart features there ends up being basic functions missing, LIKE VOLUME CONTROL. What the hell is the point in using wireless audio devices but still needing to keep my phone or tablet in hand just to adjust volume or skip tracks?! The "auto-pause" is about the only smart feature that's worth having at all as long as there i a way to disable it.
Now I like these but that’s very weird that they don’t have wear dect sensors since the space one has that and they were cheaper. And they are also lacking the other Sony headphones feature were you put your hand on the right earcup and it activated ambient mode. But they do have better build and better sound and better anc to justify the price I say.
Do you hear the clicks when pressing the buttons? Does it still have eq shift when switching ANC modes? Does it still rumble when playing music loud on bass-heavy songs?
Why no bluetooth 5.4, these are brand new and still using last years standard? I have Q30, which hss hardshell case and only paid $28 for them. It's the Q35, Q45, and Space One that has Wear Detection. Not worth $200, should be under $100, Soundcore has lost their way, time for them to wake up and smell the coffee to what users really want.
I can't say it's a deal breaker, I actually turn that feature off on all my headphones that have it, it's more of an annoyance to me, but I do understand why some would like it depending on the situation.
@carrotcake9408 to its a deal breaker i have the WH1000XM5 and the Galaxy Buds 3 pro with in ear detection for $200 dollars and you also get a pouch no thank you they needed yo include a case
They sound phenomenal and have better Bass than my Beats Solo 4 .... BUT They don't have the outward airflow and you will SWEAT like a MoFo around the ears with these. I find the Beats & Beats Studio don't lock up the air so tight and these Soundcore after wearing outdoors , 70 degrees outside , cloudy day , after 90 minutes the sweat was running back into my ear canal. But ... They DO offer a better sound than Beats Solo 4 and are a DIRECT MATCH in performance to the Beats Studio Pro. I wish Soundcore would give me a pair , because the ones I have go back to the University on Monday. I only had them for this weekend to try ... 😢😢😢😢
Another great video Sir ..... I've owned 5-6 Soundcore products and they all suffer from mediocre ANC and Ambient mode that is not all that hot. My Sony Sony WH-XB910N were much cheaper than these and offer better functionality and sound quality. I think that these Soundcore headphones would be a better bargain @ $100
I'm guessing this is the successor to the Space Q45 then. That being said, it has some stiff competition with the Sony ULT Wears and Sennheiser Accentum Plus since they also retail for $200, but I've been seeing them go for $170-180 lately. That said, I don't doubt that they will be better than Beats because let's be honest, they have nothing going for them nowadays other than their flashy designs.
I’m not impressed with these ones.. they should of combined both he QC45s and the Space Ones to make the Premium ones!! Having ALL the features! Crazy.. 😊
I found the space ones to sound pretty awful, so seeing they didn’t refine it any for this one really sucks because I love everything else that soundcore does Maybe one day they’ll make something on the quality level of the q35 again
Humph 🤔 I think Soundcore is getting lost 😮💨 Because, let's face it, when you're not Sony, Bose, Sennheiser but especially Apple 🍏 or its pupil, Beats, you can't afford to release $200 headphones 🎧 with this packaging and without proximity sensors for automatic play-pause 🤷🏽♂️ I don't doubt the quality of these Soundcore Space One Pro, but past the $150-$200 price mark, people look first to the big brands, and especially that headphones 🎧 like the Sony XM5 but especially the Sennheiser Momentum 4 are quite often around $250-$300, unless the price of these Soundcores drops quickly to $150 maximum, I think it's going to be complicated for Soundcore to sell them well.
Does soundcore think we're a joke? So this is their new premium headphones. Yes, they're well constructed look elegant and seen robust. But are we a joke as a consumer to them because they are $200. They don't have ear detection and all they throw you is a stupid pouch. That's not enough. They should at least give a decent carrying case and not a pouch. Now you have the qc35. You also have the QC 45 including the older QC 30, all of these have in ear detection. Why not put it on their new flagship headphones at this point. They're taking too many steps back in the headphone market and look like a joke my w h 1000xm5 which are more expensive have in your detection and a good carrying case these at a decent price point couldn't include that sound core sounds pointless at this point. Even my galaxy buds three pro and I know they're not headphones but they have in ear detection and are only fifty dollars more sound core at this point released a joke in the headphone market😂😂
I mean personally, I don't really care for wear detection, so I'm not too mad about that. But, they absolutely SHOULD come with a hard case at this price and not some silk pouch that can barely protect them.
@LightKnight2311 I know right? They should come with a decent hard shell case. Not a pouch the pouch I would leave it for a set of headphones in the $90 price range or headphones $100 plus nothing in the $200 price point should come with a pouch only a hard shell carrying case.
Until the Q45s are officially discontinued and aren't replaced by another Q series set, the space one's can't be considered to be THE new flagship. Premium for it's price point, sure, but it can't have all the bells and whistles given the top end of the lineup.
Yea all of these brands that initially seem like amazing value eventually become the thing they tried to destroy: overpriced and underwhelming. Happens every time.
Basically I am not a fan of expensive headphones and think they should be ~100 bucks ,but soundcore is legit and if their noice cancel would help me not hear kindergarten yelling all the time I would be eager to try that IA haha
