The Corvus Peq Beam-5 gives a better tac stance bonus with a laser that is visible at the hip. Fun fact tho: a laser that is visible "at the hip" isn't visible in tac stance. The State50 Grip also gives a better hipfire/tac stance bonus than the S-37C DL Breacher without harming ADS speed. So with No Stock, Bombast barrel, Bracefire underbarrel, Corvus laser and State50 grip, you get: Hipfire min: 0.7 Hipfire max: 1.4 Tac Stance: 0.6
The thing with tac builds though, you still want to have something to help with recoil, because you still get a solid amount. No stock is good on paper, but your recoil jacks up. You can keep the stock, but still have great success. Long as you have a Tac of like 1.1, the thing is a laser and has basically no deviation. The deviation is so slight that even if you are very slightly off target, it is still going to hit. But that is also because the bullet velocity makes it so easy to have hitscan. Bullet velo breakdown for hitscan range, is roughly just taking the value, dividing it by 2, and taking a 0 off it. So for example, a build I have on one of my Kar98s, has a velo of 1244 if memory serves, with a max and min dmg range of 68.3. The hitscan range of that is 62.2 meters due to the velocity on it. So there is like a very minute (not like time pronounced ‘minute’, but minute as in SMALL. Like a minute detail.) hit delay that isn’t even a full second. Sure, speccing into tac and s2f/ads is great, but if the recoil stats suck, you still have to fight that. Your tac stance utilizes both ads movespeed and base speed, and takes only a PORTION of your ads speed. But.. recoil is still important. You need that medium. I mean go ahead and test out a pure 0.7 static tac stance. Its great spread, but it has a lotta bounce.
@@kittydurgon8740 i've been using no stock in warzone and in multiplayer and the recoil really isn't that big a deal especially when you're in tac-stance instead of the halfway ADS you get with the bracefire grip. Sure you have to control it some but tac stance is literally more accurate, almost down to a pinpoint, than using regular ADS. You can chew through people even up to 50 meters way pretty easily

(I’ve still run into a few of them, they are however, MUCH rarer now that the Anticheat isn’t AS dogshit. It’s still not a great AC though.) But to counter your ‘Warzone’ point, the balance for stats and attachments also differ in WZ and MP. And.. even Zombies has its own balance. Almost every NO stock option is torching your recoil by at least 40% in one or more categories. Some cases, a 100% more recoil on an automatic. So, sure, it’s good, but for most players who struggle with recoil, yeah.. no stock option ain’t gonna do them much good. SVA set to semi auto as well.. but why run that when the STG exists. Thing has a better ttk, better dmg profile and range, and is extremely easy to manage with like 2-3 attachments. Long as that horizontals set, you can beam.
The Taq Evolier build is so darn fun.. it’s so hilarious to just literally spin around ghost ship. They should leave it and keep putting weird buggy attachments in for the haunting event
I really hope they rebalanced the headshot multipliers for BO6. Going from MWIII where headshots are rewarded on half the guns to BO6 where you need a specific barrel to get you a slight headshot multiplier is ridiculous in my opinion.
Really didn't mind it. Have you played Halo infinite? Being good at the movement means stomping every single game because of how easily you can get those headshots. I know from experience. Its not the best solution, but it makes sense. With the movement plus headshots smgs will be even more dominate. Imagine getting headshot by an SMG user running 40mph sliding around corners. Its so easy to max out movement speed too, that will be the end result. I wish headshots were actual headshots but I also don't know how they'd balance it with the movement without doing Xdefiant TTK, which I'm pretty sure everyone hated for a game without shields like Halo.
Yeah, I think instead of the 1.1x headshot damage upgraded to 1.2x with a barrel it should be 1.2x headshot damage by default with 1.4x with the barrel. That way headshots with no attachment at least have a bit more tangible benefit in some cases, and the headshot barrel becomes really good for people that aim well and camo hunters.
Even if Tac stance gets nerfed, it’s still a good lmg. It fits the fast firing niche better than the other lmgs like the 5.56 Evolvere, Rapp, and Burnout/Thunder conversion kits.
The rapp h is more accurate and is more consistent at range. I think overall the kastov will just be the best tac stance lmg but is nowhere the best option for versatility.
I have put a lot of time into this game. I find if you put attachments to get the horizontal recoil as low as possible, any gun is decent. Because if your starting center mass, worst case scenario, your last shot is either upper body or a headshot. Long shots on the higher recoil guns are a little sketch, but if you burst fire it fixes that problem.
I've been having so much fun with the under Barrel. I feel like I'm playing Doom or something. Maybe they can do a game type with it or something I don't know
There’s absolutely a nasty build that I’ve been using for accuracy, and if you want to swap to tac stance its usable and it pisses people off since it’s extremely accurate you just beam them with absolutely zero recoil to harm your aim

I don't think the attachment is broken. It gives you a different and fun way of play the game and people with faster guns and more nimble can still outplay you most of the times. And in Warzone is not that crazy either so... it's fine.
It LITERALLY lets you walk in Tac Stance FASTER than your sprint speed in several setups, and drastically lowers your ADS speed which is made even faster by going in Tac Stance. Yes, it is overtuned.
This LMG is extremely underwhelming. It is basically a better TAQ Evolvere (using 556 ammo) in the range and damage departments, but having the faster movement speed with the Evolvere as well as a 200 round belt to make this thing as spammable and goofy as possible just makes the LSW feel like it is just kinda there. I haven't touched it since finishing interstellar on it once And while this isn't a criticism of the gun's performance, the iron sights on this LMG might be top 10 worst iron sights in COD history or at least top 15. They are extremely obstructive and have horrible sway when strafing. So I'm not sure what they were thinking with those irons lol

This gun is after me own heart. Tac Stance is my favorite close-mid range playstyle since I can mostly ignore ADS timers with it.
I like using the Stand rear grip instead of the laser, to get even better tac stance spread. It’s .8 with it and the rest of this build.
This attachment is going to be the reason why i get the new mastery camo. The Evolvere if you didnt know, is actually faster than the Kastov LSW.
