I feel about the same way. I was brought up in an old-school Roman Catholic culture, and indoctrinated with beliefs about eternal punishment, etc. I struggled with my beliefs for decades. With therapy, I let those scary, damaging beliefs go. I'm not a praying person, nor do I go to church, but I do believe in the Creator, the Source of all love. I simply live with gratitude for all the blessings I've been given, and make sure I'm kind and compassionate to others.

Perhaps the author of the video does not know that Einstein was a great admirer of Spinoza for whom the word GOD stands for NATURE or the ultimate SUBSTANCE. Spinoza was accused of being an atheist but denied it also because he did consider the word "God" meaningful but not in the sense of a Personal God. For Spinoza Mind and Matter cannot be ultimately different because there is only one ultimate reality.

He said "I believe in Spinoza's God" and this makes sense if you understand Spinoza. He said he's not an atheist, but chose the term agnostic.
So to look to the authority of Einstein's words for quick answers or comfort to reinforce your own opinion, whether religious or atheist, is to not really do him justice. Read some Spinoza. "The Dream of Enlightenment" is a great book/starting point that includes Spinoza and lots of great stuff on audible (or even TH-cam) if you don't get much free time, including stuff by Spinoza himself.
