Many of these cars at auction are there because they can't be retailed and are cars that the previous owner no longer wanted becuase there is something wrong with them. It's difficult for someone who is not in the trade, looking to make a small profit. I know that not everyone will agree , but having purchased cars both from BCA and COPART , so far, I would put COPART cars which are there folloing an accident for insurance claims, are better than BCA , as generally they are cars that the owner was not intending to sell at the time they crashed , so have fewer pre existing issues. Best of luck.
Couldn’t agree more, up until the point of the accident the car was running and driving. Most people only put a car in an auction to get rid due to problems….i got caught years ago..never again.
Glad you got it home okay - I once had a Peugeot 206 where the clutch packed in without warning at traffic lights, we pushed the car into the verge and had to get someone to drive it home who knew how to change gear without the clutch 🙈😂
That's an OBD bluetooth device nice ..... buying a car cat clear is always a risk at auction..... with a cat car you know it was running before the accident
Buying 500s blind is a big risk , specially when it's from BCA!! They can be a money pit, lower arms, sump, bluetooth, rear beams corroded, gearbox bearings, clutch slave and master cylinders to name just a few things.
Bluetooth module likely corrupted. Press the phone button on that steering wheel, if nothing happens, the module is broken. You then may start to see a drain in the battery until it's disconnected or repaired
@@carsalvage101 Hi buddy just discovered your channel this evening, and after I asked the question I've watched your video on the problem with the bluetooth module , thenk you 👍

BCA. Enough said, only use them to sell your problem motors.

Whether you were wishing you’d bought the ‘07 Prius over your left shoulder at one point.
3 in a row. That is terrible bad luck.
This a telematic unit that is totally removable the drive may have had this fitted for insurance
90k plus miles on a 500 and selling threw a auction asking for trouble tbh
