Singapore is a great Country! The quality of life is also pretty high. Nevertheless I wouldn’t like to live there, because it just feels a little bit artificial. For me personally it feels like the Dubai of South East Asia.
One thing I know for sure is the citizens of Singapore (not sure about non-residents) do not have to pay tax on their investment gains. Singapore could be located in the middle of Africa and it would've done the same thing. Conversely, you can move other people to Singapore and it would've become a dump.
