I have made my research and have gotten some scary and discouraging comments about the industry nonetheless, I think it’s a job sector that might fit my schedule as an international student. Hello Adam, We do not want to make false promises about getting hired. Upon receiving your Ontario security guard licence you can apply directly to any security company in Ontario and do not need to go through an agency. Your security licence is not attached to a specific training entity.
Hello, We are sorry to hear that your license is taking this amount of time to be processed. The Ministry usually processes Security Guard Licenses in 15 business days. If you applied on May 14th, today would be the 14th business day. You should receive your license in the coming business days. Keep in mind, the Ministry is dealing with a high amount of volume which is causing the delay. There is also no way to expedite the application process. We hope you receive your license soon!
Hello, we recommend downloading your digital security guard license to your phone for quick access. You can also print out the license and keep it on your person for reference if you are ever asked to show it. The digital security guard license is meant to stay on your phone in a folder you can access quickly so anyone who asks can see your license.
