I couldn't agree more with the comment of not missing the kids section. I LOVE the clear divided containers, I have the ones with lids in my bathroom, craft room and Office, the open ones in my linen closed for first aid, every time I go I pick up more of these and I always find a way to use them. Thank you for taking us on a tour, you should get a medal for standing in line and coming out without a single purchase. We have had a few visits where we spent more in the food section than in the shop and yes, always have the meatballs in the bag when leaving Ikea. I have binge watched your channel all day, it's now just after 5 pm and I've watched you since 10am, I owe you a lot of coffee.

I can't shop fast, or without being able to at least look closely, if not touch or hold and compare. I would feel rushed and guilty thinking of all the people outside. I used to love shopping, but those days are probably gone. I don't know why it makes me feel so so sad, but it does. I'm so glad that you can adapt and still be happy....shopping? I live a couple hours away from two of them and you have saved me a small fortune by telling us not to go out and buy a bunch of bins and things to hold them until we PURGE and THEN measure the size of our spaces and supplies. Every time I drive by Ikea, I say that I have to go there again and spend the day. I just don't think I could hold up to the line getting in. I do go on line once in a while and explore though. Loved seeing all the great finds. I recently went to the IKEA near me for the first time with my younger sister. I restrained myself to a couple of items thinking I would be doing some measuring and then returning to make some purchases. Joke was on me.... that was about 2 weeks before the "stay at home" orders were issued due to COVID. Some day soon!

Thank you. I used to get the catalog from Ikea. I have never been to one but I had thought that they have nice things. This was fun and interesting. I enjoyed seeing the way they set up and the ideas that they give. I am in such a small space that I rent now. I lived upstairs which was two floors, now I'm in a couple of rooms. Seeing the small spaces that they could fit things in to is very interesting. I've done so much by doubling up and even using boxes. I enjoy watching your videos. Thank you for sharing them.
Loved the open kitchen wall with the pegs and hanging stuff. I believe it was metal. Also the farm style storage. It waw wood I believe. Hd wood bxs underneath.
Michael's wood crates are the same price, but you can make smaller ones with 18" paint paddles. Paint paddles 18" are cheaper than 6' furring strip and more nicely finished. The end pieces are what ever size crate and however tall you want to make them. Look into that as I haven't seen a video on it. They make awesome towel storage too. Wood glue, stapler or brad nailer something to cut the wood. You should cut the handle part off.
When I just redid part of my craft room I used those drawers from ikea and then went to Lowes and got a bruised and reduced kitchen countertop to put on top of the drawers. It fit SOOOO nice. And wasn’t as expensive as you would think if you can find a slightly damaged one but nice enough to use

I finally go into our Ikea today. There were only about 600 people in line. Previously I estimated about 1200. Not kidding. I didn't hang around on those days. No umbrellas or water bottles where I am. Glad you made it in.
I love Ikea as well. We love going to the Costa Mesa or San Diego ones and they have a bigger food selection so much more than meatballs! It's nice to switch it up.

I have been doing some research on where the closest IKEA is to me. I think it's only 2 hrs. I am going to talk my husband into a day trip. I think we will need to borrow our Grandsons truck, just to be safe. I am so glad that you will be able to return to your business and make up for lost time. I love IKEA, but it can be so overwhelming. Just give me one of everything - oops that will cause clutter. You have inspired me through your videos, my craft room and craft closet look nice after going to the Dollar Tree to get collapsible containers, easily used or stashed if not being used. I’m using them in my kitchen too for my Instant Pot accessories. I have 3 different size IP’s, and yes I use them all but they do create clutter with their accessories. Not any more, everything in one place now. Love it.
your video has loads of good ideas, i wanted to correct you, Ikea is all over the world and has been for many years before opening in the USA,I live in Germany and have 3 ikea stores within 30 mins, i'm glad America is enjoying the store.

I went to Hobby Lobby too.... I literally walked through every single isle - just because I could. They have Easter items at 90% off!!! I got three little signs at $.29 each. That was my only purchase. My budget is firm - and I obey. LOL
Great fun shopping with you. There's an IKEA about an hour from me, you certainly whetted my appetite. The as-is section seems dreamy. My van is full of furniture to refinish and sale. I need to unload everything so I can haul anything I cannot live without. The fold-down desk is stuck in my mind. And the pegboard with accessories. And maybe a rug.

This is one of the BEST IKEA shopping videos I've ever seen. When I went to Ikea before, I was overwhelmed...LOST...no idea what I was supposed to be doing. And I was in Germany. The signs were not in English and I was working hard to make my college German work for me. I spent a LOT of money b/c I was in shopping Nirvana. UGH. It does help to have a plan. Also, now that there's a way to sort out your trip online, or on an app, it seems less overwhelming. :P

My frustration is the closest store is 3 hours away, but I have made many a trip in the past. Since I have been a fan of Scandinavian design for nearly 50 years I delight in an IKEA visit-so thanks for the tour!
I bought some of the fancy cut storage boxes at Dollar tree in Your/my BLUE. This was a couple of years ago, had to make several trips until I found stock. I bought all..lol I want that CRAFTY storage setup with the wire baskets. I think it's a good thing IKEA is too far away!! I want all of it..❤️😊😊😁

I'm glad I didn't go to bed or I'd have missed this. But I'm also sad because I wanted to go to IKEA for my birthday this year, but everything shut down before it arrived! 😥 I really want some of the wooden boxes just before the 11:37 mark to hang in our grandson's room we are redoing. I'd use them as shelves by securing the bottoms to the wall using the long sides for shelves instead of boxes though. I could have not left without that $2.00 piece of wood in as is section!

I love Ikea too and am grateful that we have two stores reasonably close by. Sadly though Ikea isn't really the affordable option where I live (probably because of exchange rates). But thankfully they do offer 0% interest instalment plans which helps! Am moving in to a new place and trying to get as many Ikea pieces as I can because they're just so beautiful! Absolutely love the children's section even though i'm well in my 20s~
Awe my Ikea is 5 hours away and I want a craft desk from them and its too expensive to ship so I am crossing my fingers it comes back in stock. I love their storage solutions. TFS
I like to use things I inherited around my office. I found a black, velvety- type hand purse which is quite old. It has a gold chain for a strap, and a gold clasp. Inside is a set of two tiny pockets along the edge. When you open the clasp, the other side drops open. I hung this on the wall above my desk, let it hang open, which makes it lean against the wall firmly. In the main part of the purse I placed greeting cards and envelopes. They lean toward me for easy grabbing. In the tiny pockets.... Guess what fits! POSTAGE STAMPS!. It works so perfectly, while displaying what might have been my grandmother's purse! I love it so much!

Well done, love ikea. The juices are all awesome , I tried them all and I’m very picky. The frozen section get your meatball they are a must.The crepes are a quick dessert add banana ad Nutella . The kid section has great memory matching games, too. Kid section has great storage containers too, I use one of them for all my teas. Thank for video
Oh I love Ikea too! I'm hoping to get to mine soon but I always have trouble finding the exit! Lol. Really loved the Farmhouse bedroom! And the storage containers that are in so many colors and materials! I need a desk and have forgotten how inexpensive one is so I'm happy about that! The one other thing I was interested in seeing were the bookcases, especially the ones with glass doors. I have looked at them online and I'm hoping to purchase a couple of them for my craft room. I also love IKEA, and didn't realize what a wonderful thing I had when I lived in Atlanta! Now that I'm in Tulsa, the closest IKEA's are in Dallas TX and Kansas City. In my opinion, that means an overnight visit (darn!). I'm hoping that eventually the OK market will justify putting an IKEA in Tulsa or Oklahoma City! Thanks for the wonderful tour. Your BLUE is MY BLUE. Made chalk paint for sewing cabinet and cutting table. My bedroom ,(was sewing room) hince the blue tablesI call it my Martha Stewart color. Wish we had IKEA here (I think because I would be in that markdown area too much!) They had a plan to build here and after all the planning with available space they Decided to cancel all plans. We have an Ikea in Exeter UK which is about 45 miles from me but I haven't been there yet. When the first lockdown ended they were out of stock at pretty much everything according to the newspapers! I am hoping that they can get up to speed again when we are out of the present lockdown which won't be for a while yet. I can't wait! Your video has whetted my appetite to get there. Thanks for telling me how to buy stuff there as I had no idea! One thing I will have to be certain of, judging by all the temptation in your video, is to only take the amount I can afford to spend with me! I'm curious about the size of Kallax units as they insist on putting the measurements in horrible centimetres. I am doggedly sticking to the Imperial measurements! I know I can convert the numbers but it is not the same!

2 Ikea things I like for organizing things are the LUSTIGT arts&craft storage caddy (kids section) and the MOPPE mini-storage chests

I use the IKEA spice racks to store my craft ribbons, the smaller rolls fit perfectly, especially attached to the wall in my craft areas.

Thank you. I used to get the catalog from Ikea. I have never been to one but I had thought that they have nice things. This was fun and interesting. I enjoyed seeing the way they set up and the ideas that they give. I am in such a small space that I rent now. I lived upstairs which was two floors, now I'm in a couple of rooms. Seeing the small spaces that they could fit things in to is very interesting. I've done so much by doubling up and even using boxes. I enjoy watching your videos. Thank you for sharing them.
Loved the open kitchen wall with the pegs and hanging stuff. I believe it was metal. Also the farm style storage. It waw wood I believe. Hd wood bxs underneath.
Michael's wood crates are the same price, but you can make smaller ones with 18" paint paddles. Paint paddles 18" are cheaper than 6' furring strip and more nicely finished. The end pieces are what ever size crate and however tall you want to make them. Look into that as I haven't seen a video on it. They make awesome towel storage too. Wood glue, stapler or brad nailer something to cut the wood. You should cut the handle part off.
When I just redid part of my craft room I used those drawers from ikea and then went to Lowes and got a bruised and reduced kitchen countertop to put on top of the drawers. It fit SOOOO nice. And wasn’t as expensive as you would think if you can find a slightly damaged one but nice enough to use

When visiting my son stationed in Japan we visited IKEA in Tokyo. It is HUGE!! You park on the roof. Oh my gosh the stuff they had.

I finally go into our Ikea today. There were only about 600 people in line. Previously I estimated about 1200. Not kidding. I didn't hang around on those days. No umbrellas or water bottles where I am. Glad you made it in.
I love Ikea as well. We love going to the Costa Mesa or San Diego ones and they have a bigger food selection so much more than meatballs! It's nice to switch it up.

I have been doing some research on where the closest IKEA is to me. I think it's only 2 hrs. I am going to talk my husband into a day trip. I think we will need to borrow our Grandsons truck, just to be safe. I am so glad that you will be able to return to your business and make up for lost time. I love IKEA, but it can be so overwhelming. Just give me one of everything - oops that will cause clutter. You have inspired me through your videos, my craft room and craft closet look nice after going to the Dollar Tree to get collapsible containers, easily used or stashed if not being used. I’m using them in my kitchen too for my Instant Pot accessories. I have 3 different size IP’s, and yes I use them all but they do create clutter with their accessories. Not any more, everything in one place now. Love it.

your video has loads of good ideas, i wanted to correct you, Ikea is all over the world and has been for many years before opening in the USA,I live in Germany and have 3 ikea stores within 30 mins, i'm glad America is enjoying the store.

I went to Hobby Lobby too.... I literally walked through every single isle - just because I could. They have Easter items at 90% off!!! I got three little signs at $.29 each. That was my only purchase. My budget is firm - and I obey. LOL

Great fun shopping with you. There's an IKEA about an hour from me, you certainly whetted my appetite. The as-is section seems dreamy. My van is full of furniture to refinish and sale. I need to unload everything so I can haul anything I cannot live without. The fold-down desk is stuck in my mind. And the pegboard with accessories. And maybe a rug.
It's fun. I go just for the As-Is section sometimes! Too many great parts to play with!

This is one of the BEST IKEA shopping videos I've ever seen. When I went to Ikea before, I was overwhelmed...LOST...no idea what I was supposed to be doing. And I was in Germany. The signs were not in English and I was working hard to make my college German work for me. I spent a LOT of money b/c I was in shopping Nirvana. UGH. It does help to have a plan. Also, now that there's a way to sort out your trip online, or on an app, it seems less overwhelming. :P

Hi Norine, what a fun video! IKEA can be found in many places around the world. It is extremely popular in Europe, Japan, North America, China,, and new to several South American countries. My frustration is the closest store is 3 hours away, but I have made many a trip in the past. Since I have been a fan of Scandinavian design for nearly 50 years I delight in an IKEA visit-so thanks for the tour!

I really want some of the wooden boxes just before the 11:37 mark to hang in our grandson's room we are redoing. I'd use them as shelves by securing the bottoms to the wall using the long sides for shelves instead of boxes though.

I love Ikea too and am grateful that we have two stores reasonably close by. Sadly though Ikea isn't really the affordable option where I live (probably because of exchange rates). But thankfully they do offer 0% interest instalment plans which helps! Am moving in to a new place and trying to get as many Ikea pieces as I can because they're just so beautiful! Absolutely love the children's section even though i'm well in my 20s~

Awe my Ikea is 5 hours away and I want a craft desk from them and its too expensive to ship so I am crossing my fingers it comes back in stock. I love their storage solutions. TFS

I like to use things I inherited around my office. I found a black, velvety- type hand purse which is quite old. It has a gold chain for a strap, and a gold clasp. Inside is a set of two tiny pockets along the edge. When you open the clasp, the other side drops open. I hung this on the wall above my desk, let it hang open, which makes it lean against the wall firmly. In the main part of the purse I placed greeting cards and envelopes. They lean toward me for easy grabbing.
In the tiny pockets.... Guess what fits! POSTAGE STAMPS!.
It works so perfectly, while displaying what might have been my grandmother's purse! I love it so much!

Well done, love ikea. The juices are all awesome , I tried them all and I’m very picky. The frozen section get your meatball they are a must.The crepes are a quick dessert add banana ad Nutella . The kid section has great memory matching games, too. Kid section has great storage containers too, I use one of them for all my teas. Thank for video

Oh I love Ikea too! I'm hoping to get to mine soon but I always have trouble finding the exit! Lol. Really loved the Farmhouse bedroom! And the storage containers that are in so many colors and materials! I need a desk and have forgotten how inexpensive one is so I'm happy about that! The one other thing I was interested in seeing were the bookcases, especially the ones with glass doors. I have looked at them online and I'm hoping to purchase a couple of them for my craft room. I also love IKEA, and didn't realize what a wonderful thing I had when I lived in Atlanta! Now that I'm in Tulsa, the closest IKEA's are in Dallas TX and Kansas City. In my opinion, that means an overnight visit (darn!). I'm hoping that eventually the OK market will justify putting an IKEA in Tulsa or Oklahoma City! Thanks for the wonderful tour. I can't wait for my next visit! They have so many things that will serve multiple purposes that it's really hard to come home with nothing. Thanks again!

We have an Ikea in Exeter UK which is about 45 miles from me but I haven't been there yet. When the first lockdown ended they were out of stock at pretty much everything according to the newspapers! I am hoping that they can get up to speed again when we are out of the present lockdown which won't be for a while yet. I can't wait! Your video has whetted my appetite to get there. Thanks for telling me how to buy stuff there as I had no idea! One thing I will have to be certain of, judging by all the temptation in your video, is to only take the amount I can afford to spend with me! I'm curious about the size of Kallax units as they insist on putting the measurements in horrible centimetres. I am doggedly sticking to the Imperial measurements! I know I can convert the numbers but it is not the same!
There is much to be seen on-line! You can measure before you buy! :)
