La Union is one of the favorite tourist destinations in the Philippines. It's a place with beautiful beaches, rich culture and traditions, and stunning landscapes. La Union province in the Philippines is located on the island of Luzon's Ilocos Region.

Baluarte Watchtower:
Baluarte Watchtower (Bantayan ng La Union) is a 400-year old watchtower along Luna's pebble-covered seashore that faces the West Philippine Sea. The Spanish colonizers built the tower to keep watch of the olden times' impending pirate attacks, other foreign invaders, and any other dangers from the sea.

Centennial Tunnel:
The Centennial Tunnel was meant to be part of a passenger railway line which would connect Aringay to Baguio. The railway line's construction began in 1911 by British firm Manila Railway Co. (MRC) Ltd. The Aringay station was completed in 1912. Construction of the tunnel itself in 1913 would begin. However World War I forced MRC to abandoned the project.
During the Japanese occupation of the Philippines of World War II, the Imperial Japanese Army used the tunnel as a headquarters. The tunnel later became a popular site for treasure hunters who believe that the structure houses the supposed Yamashita's gold. The tunnel was given the name "Centennial Tunnel" in 2013.

Bahay na Bato:
Bahay na Bato of Luna, La Union showcases sculpted or carved arts and crafts made from stones and driftwoods. Korean artist Vong Kim is the main sculptor of the place. He was commissioned by the owners, Dr. Edison and Dra. Purita Noble, to freely demonstrate his art when Luna Mayor Marvin Marron persuaded the couple to make their rest house a tourist attraction. There are also other equally talented Filipino sculptors there.

Eagle of the North:
The Giant Eagle of the North Park is a park and tourist attraction in Agoo, La Union, Philippines. It features a concrete sculpture known as Eagle of the North by Anselmo Day-ag. The eagle sculpture is depicted with its wings spread as if it is preparing to take flight and symbolizes the influence of the Marcos family.
