I saw Louis's play first, I can't understand how to play bass with thumb...then I was 12.. I got my first bass on 15, I hit 4th string with my thumb...then I remember Louis's sound. Now I'm 46,I can play this song. it takes 30 years long...I respect Louis.He is the best!
i swear any footage i watch from the 80s no matter what it is...music, movies, shows, ect. i always feel a sense of care free vibes and how those were such simpler easier times. Every single person in this video is enjoying their selves like they havent got a worry in the world.

Today the producers think it's cool to crank Antares Auto-Tune all the way up so the singer or rappers sounds like everyone else. Yeah…no. I want to hear the singers sing! Plenty of people play their own instruments and sing great without Auto-Tune, indie music > record labels' flavour of the week.

Sorry but as a studio sound engineer I played this supposed liver version over the original single release and there was no measurable different on my software
I dont know ...that is how Louis plays the Bass, his fingers are all over the place...I am looking and the voice is off but that can come from the recording...what is it you see?. I am sure that you had to play "live" for the midnight special
