Hi Howard, any possibility of you demonstrating a hand tied leader [with varying diameters] as the one you used in your last video please? thank you

You also can try a black marker on the indicator line, it usually make it easy to se👍

I have tried black sections but it somehow isn't as black as I would like. Im currently using that black wax but ill look into those pens u where talking about, are those competition legal?

Thanks Howard! I've been loving fishing the LL 11'2 #2 here in the US desert for rainbows and browns. The sensitivity is incredible!! Can you describe about how it compares to the 10'8 #0/2 and #3?

Good stuff again Howard. Could you elaborate on the acrylic option. Product type etc. As a over 70’s that might really help.

Howard Croston just Googled it and seen a Glow in the Dark option. Have you looked at that? It may show up over yellow indicator in low light.

    Thanks for the info.
Any chance you could give us your opinions on (nymph) bead colours. Specifically the silver v copper v brass v misc painted. I see all the options but have never seen anything on the rationale for colour choices? Hopefully you can help clarify. 🤔

    Hi Howard
Is it legal to use these fluo waxes on FIPSM ruled comps? Cos I'm usually competing back in my mother country where it's not 100% allowed. Can U please explain in few words is it allowed on World and European comps?
    Thanks

      Hi .
It’s really quite a “grey” area and on this point I usually will ask the question in the Captains meeting or wait for a similar question to be asked . It’s allowed to grease your leader but it says nothing about the colour of the grease so some competitors use coloured grease . Coloured wax is similar although as it doesn’t naturally float you could argue it’s actually “safer” than a coloured grease under the rules! Many of the rules are out dated and not clear so generally if I have doubt I ask at that specific championship.
