I watched it not to learn how to install a binder mechanism in a journal, but to learn whether I could remove it to cover a journal and then replace the binder mechanism without having to purchase any parts (I didn't know if the rivets screwed in or were banged in, like eyelets and grommets).

If you need to replace ring binder Rocky Mountain Leather Supply is selling Krause binders $9.49 - $11.99 depending on size. They just slip on, no screws like in this video example.
