Even back then people like Biggie and Jay Z made it popular to do subliminals which I don't mind either. There is a level of cleverness that goes with it I enjoy. The Game has just been ultra competitive since the day he came out and even more so than even rappers back then. The Game was going at everyone from 50 and G-Unit by himself when they were at their highest peak all the way to Joe Budden. He has never been scared of lyrically sparing with anyone and I do love that energy. He really just dgaf and raps to rap. I don't see why people dislike it
