Warren’s outro solo is the greatest solo in rock history

This album was one of the albums that ignited the "hair metal" scene across America, and I cant really think of another album from that genre that tops it.

Those guitars in stereo just awesome. Robin and Warren were great at playing separate parts that blended perfectly.

Warren just punches you right in the face with the first few bends.. he’s got such a uniquely unconventional approach..and it holds up so well 40yrs later.. in fact it sounds even better now. Robin’s parts are an absolutely perfect compliment too..

Crosby's and DeMartini's parts MUST be heard together for full impact. This is probably one of the best guitar duos of the 80's. Crosby was a like a rhythm MACHINE and DeMartini's sprinkled killer licks all over it.
Don't need vocals, bass or drums for this to sound awesome.

Agreed.. admittedly I’ve always only thought of Warren but Robin deserves credit for his contributions.. I wonder if the shadow Warren cast over him ever pissed him off.. must have been challenging for him to play second fiddle..

It's unbelievable how spontaneous and effortless the verses sound with those little vibrato bends. Neatly produced but played like there had been tons of live performances beforehand, like it was second nature by then. Complete mastery of the guitar as far as I'm concerned.

Everything he plays is meticulously composed, arranged and practiced. Not a spontaneous note or technique there. You can set those vibratos to a metronome.

2 of the very best in Hair Metal history bar none. I actually like many of Warren’s solos over EVHs. Warren is an incredibly dynamic player whose solos are “fit like a glove” to what they were doing !!!

would you like to go back in time and do it all over again? Those were beautiful times 80s and look where we’re at today is definitely it’s not The same bands are fading off. No new bands in site. Well at least it seems that way so yes I would love to go back and leave those days, it’s not the same

I love Ratt. I was 10 years old when this song came out and I saw the video countless times on MTV back then, and still see it often on VH1. I’ve heard Round and Round probably 2,000 times…. but to hear the isolated guitar tracks - absolutely amazing!! I now have a new appreciation for this song, which may sound odd since its been around for nearly 40 years, but to be able to focus on every piece of the guitar is incredible. Thank you for posting this.

Bless you once again. The "outro" solo where the fade out begins is magical and lyrical and you can barely hear it on the album.
Thanks for dropping out the rhythm in Warren's solo sections and for volume at the end. So good \m/

Brilliant arrangement, tone and mixing of two guitars. 80s hard rock had a lot of this, no wonder this still kicks @ss!

So cool how they're each doing their own thing then they come together and then they do their own thing again. No one does this anymore, unfortunately (please let me know if I'm wrong!)

You're not wrong. Nobody wants a "live" or a "raw" sound like this, anymore. Everything has to be perfect, down-tuned and djenty, according to some. Kind of boring.

@@guntherachterhof4876you’re not looking hard enough if you think all modern bands are “djent” crazy lixx, Santa Cruz, hardcore superstar, all great modern bands that keep 80s rock alive

Robbin is on the right, correct? I'm shocked that I like his tone here better than Warren's. He's using less gain and I dig it. I never would've guessed that!

Nice! Thx for posting the real thing!
There's a ton of ding dongs trying to pass off there own sub-par playing as Warren and Robin's tracks. The difference is huge.
I was 12 when this debuted on Mtv in '84 and like many, many players, I have listened to this album 5000 times and can instantly spot a fake track.
    🤘🏼😎🎸 SUBBED!

As always ....Robbin is the LEFT Channel and Warren is the RIGHT Channel. (Which always seemed strange to me as Robbin was always on the right side of the stage and Warren always was on the Left side of the stage.
