I love the new staff hiring especially KJ Wright. Head coach potential right there. 👀 his podcast, I like how he announced that he's our new coach. I really do think this new coaching structure will work well together. The defense is gonna be creative, sound, & aggressive next year.

Nick Sorensen was a stud as a player at Virginia Tech. The 49'rs just keep bringing in the talent.
This is sad the 49 has had a top team the last 5years Kyle is washed up the head coach went to Houston go figure family name and history should not get you a head coaching job

Niners were also interviewing the Chiefs’ DB coordinator after they learned that Spags got his contract extension. So, the Chiefs actually dodged 2 bullets, considering how good the Chiefs’ secondary has been the last few years.
Smart move by the 49ers. Either you get great coaches, or you force the Chiefs to pay more.
@@samuelwallace2782 paying good coaches doesn't really effect teams or owners, other than maybe a great HC, they make less than most players.

If my guy Richard Sherman had his life together. 🤔 He would have been added to the new defense of staff. I really hope he can control of his demons. Yeah I believe he's a great dude. But he needs some help.

When Brandon Staley focused strictly on defense with the Chargers they weren't bad but he delved into everything else.
Not a fan of his head coaching efforts.
hahaha.. Brandon Staley called ALL 100% DEFENSIVE CALLS with the Chargers. They were terrible on Defense. HE SUCKS and you will find out real quick. Chargers fan here and believe me ... he is TERRIBLE!!

In 2023, Niners defense rank was #8, if the 2024 improves to #7 or better then its an upgrade over Steve Wilks.

I fear Staley will take the leadership from Nick Sorensen and may make the defense a laughing stock.
I hate the talk Staley had one good year in 2020 with the rams. Pure bad take as the Rams went now where that year.
In 2021 the Rams won the superbowl with way better defensive coordinator.
Why are folks discounting what Staley the fool did with the Chargers defense?? Even thou the defense had good players it never made it to the top 20.
All I know is if Staley does take over the Vetrans will go to Kyle and ask that he be gone. Kyle runs the risk of losing his players.

No big deal here. The 49ers are so loaded and it still makes no sense how they keep losing SB's.....the issue is and has been Kyle. The NFC will be stronger next year and they will not make the SB or even win the division from the Rams, who have a much better coach, with less talent.

Wow you really have no clue what you’re talking about. Kyle is the mastermind behind the entire operation. They wouldn’t have such an amazing roster if it wasn’t for him. He’s picking them all. He’s the one getting them to the championship year after year and the Super Bowl. He doesn’t have an elite QB, and when you’re that high up in the season, that’s what separates teams
Matt Ryan was elite. Up 28-3 and lose to Pats. Just run the ball and don't try to show everyone you are so brilliant. McVey normally beats Kyle and has won a SB.@@buddysteele7624
@@DominicRogers-gs1fm Yeah, but their path this year couldn't have been better. Locked the 1st seed early with the Lions and Cowboys choking in their final games, they didn't have to face the Cowboys or Eagles in the playoffs, and they were pretty healthy going into the SB. The path next season is going to be tougher.
@@hbjetta they’ve beat the cowboys multiple times in the playoffs, I expect it to happen again… with the way the eagles ended their season I don’t see them as a threat until they show it next season
Why would 49ers bring in the worst d coordinator/ headcoach Staley who set the nfl history for giving up most explosive plays in pass n run he was so good bolts ranked 32 nd in defense for 3 years .This dude is total trash his got nothing to bring to the niners.
staley was the best D coordinator the one year he coached, he's not going to be a head coach here. just here to help the defense.
