Man I’ve been binging these interviews while I painting flash, I love learning about the lore of traditional tattooing. The history always gives me the motivation to push through and keep working towards my end goal of becoming a tattooer.
Yeah I got a lot of work done that good time Charlie I met him a long time ago the 70s and East LA or Freddy Negrete and Jack Rudy we’re working at goodtime Charlie’s on Whittier Blvd., East LA I used to go there a lot I got a lot of work done from Jack and Freddy which a lot of people don’t know that Jack was called Huero and Freddy was known as coyote. Good to see Charlie still around man it’s been years. Lotta good people came out of that shop and one may she rest in peace was well-known lady blue who I got to work done before she passed.
