I wish I was able to experience the days of cars and trucks that actually had a soul and weren’t made to be super wimpy pieces of crap. Thankfully my grandfather has one of this exact truck painted Chevy yellow, hopefully he’ll leave it with me so I can add to the collection and restore it to its former glory🤞
@Mercurycougarlover yeah make sure you get it. I wish I had my grandpa's old 83 ford f150. That truck was really for tough back then. Ran forever. And was a inline 6.
I hear that, I remember when I had a 71 Chevy in a 79 Chevy pickup both 4×4s with 350ci, if you needed something you could just fix it yourself, no damn computer or nothing just get some wrenches and fix it, and most the time you knew exactly what it was???
Man! My dad brought used 73 Cheyenne deluxe, 4x4, 4spd, black on black, camper special! Even had a/c, power brakes, and disc brakes all the way around, we traveled to Colorado elk hunting up until the early 90's sadly the salted road in Winter time took her out, missed the gud times we had in that truck!
I worked for a GM dealer (owner) who also ran a large farm on the side. He would take a new vehicle off the lot always and drive it out to his farm land. This land was all over the place in parcels in a 150 mile radius. I was 15 driving new cadillacs all the time. I worked for him about 10 years on this farm. I started in 1975 and left in 1985. I found out in the early 90's someone found a 1972 GMC 1/2 ton in a grove of trees on his land. Here it sat for 20 years in this field. He had forgotten about it in one of his outings to his farm. Jumped in a tractor and took it to another parcel of land and got in another vehicle there. He left vehicles all over the place. This truck only had 30 miles on it. I don't know what happened to it after it was found.
I have this exact truck in a 1971, was my grandfathers that he bought new in Chico, Ca. It doesn’t look new like this beauty but I can tell the stories where most of the little dents and scratches came from.
Wow 😮 , that’s one really awesome 😎 truck ! Beautiful two tone paint combination & nice 👍 body style ! Lots of metal in that one ! Thanks 🙏 Greg for showing it to us !
My favorite Trucks Chevy 1968-1972 the best middle Chevy ever put out! I had a 72 Chevy K5 Blazer in the 1980’s after High School and in the Marines! I sold it and it got totaled! I paid $2,800 for it after High School damn I miss it!
My best friends truck in 1990, could not see the long bed or not. That is awesome. I want to build one of those for my Vet Daughter who loves old cars. Canno get older than cars we drove in High School in 1980
Learned how to drive same year truck. It was a 3 on the tree. My Dad had about 5 of that body style including a 1 ton dump truck. Wow, that AM radio sounds a lot better than I remember ..... 😀
Dad bought his first truck in 1969 a new GMC Sierra Grande with a 454. Gold (where this one is white) and Maroon. AM/FM, A/C, Power steering and power boosted front disc brakes. It sounded like an angry dog growling when he started it!
It is so much better than any modern truck. Not loaded with a bunch of stupid luxery and tech that just inflates the price and breaks in a year. There is such beauty in functionality and simplicity, a truck meant for work that you can work on yourself. And now government regulations make this impossible to build.
No sunroof, no traction control, no emission bs, no crawl-bs, no more than 2 doors. Just a gritty work vehicle. Thats all that trucks were meant to be. Beautiful thing
My dream truck right there The only thing I would want differently is a manual transmission That’s just my preference And Trust me I’d be grinning ear to ear with just the way she sits All time favorite
And people, THIS is what real trucks should still be. Ford, Chevy and Dodge. Love the old skool trucks, don't care what make.
Amen and without all the chrome junk that don't make it run any better. Definitely old school here !!
Honestly most car brands are alright, fuck Hyundai though
And for just shy the cost of a first born son, it can all be yours!
😂😂
easy now, don't forget the ,80s Chevys that had the terrible Oldsmobile diesel engines in them. otherwise you're correct
Wish I would have bought and stored 4-5 of the back in the day
Once apon a time, when trucks were real trucks.
I wish I was able to experience the days of cars and trucks that actually had a soul and weren’t made to be super wimpy pieces of crap.

In my opinion this is the all around best truck chevy ever made, this has always been my favorite body style of chevy pick up. Jp from Indiana
Oh the beauty of simplicity. I miss that.

I didn’t know I could love a truck so much!!! 😍

My dream truck. I love the round headlights
Wow! Another beautiful 4x4 pickup. I love the two tone paint, original Chevy rallies, and stance as well!👍😎🇺🇸
Now that’s how a real tailgate and door sound like shutting
Yep
Beyond beautiful. The mother of all trucks in the early 1970's, when Chevy was king, and rightly so.
Yeah, even though Ford has been killing it with the *F-100* and THEN the *F-150* , Chevy’s trucks were great in their own right.
Great Short Video. Beautiful 1972 Chevy 4X4 Pick Up Truck.
One of the nicest trucks Ive ever seen. Perfect height and stance too
Hey, look at that. A real truck.
I have this exact truck in a 1971, was my grandfathers that he bought new in Chico, Ca. It doesn’t look new like this beauty but I can tell the stories where most of the little dents and scratches came from.
Picking one of these oldies up today. I’m really excited.

Dam Buddy, the whole truck shook when he SLAMMED the door. It obviously does not belong to him.
You have to slam them to get them to close

That brings back memories. My grandpa had a '71 black and white one when I was a kid.
Dad bought his first truck in 1969 a new GMC Sierra Grande with a 454. Gold (where this one is white) and Maroon. AM/FM, A/C, Power steering and power boosted front disc brakes. It sounded like an angry dog growling when he started it!
