I learned how to touch type on a manual typewriter at secretarial college in the 1990s. I’m not sure if they still use them, but it’s the best way to start. I had to demonstrate my accuracy on paper before I could graduate to electric.
Tomorrows World had an programme in 1969 that mentioned computers on desks within 15 years. Similar news in the 2020s mean AI and quantum computing being available as mobile devices within a much shorter time period before 2035.
Companies in the past invested in money in order to implement staff in canteens. I believe presently there are certain large corporate office blocks that still have restaurants implemented within buildings. This is not unusual.
