Hands down one of the most magical groups I’ve ever seen. Been to so many different shows over the years I literally don’t have a clue how many. But these guys stick out to me. And this Group is just Locked in man. They are locked in and hanging onto every note this man is putting out. He is in FULL CONTROL. believe it. Only one person with that kind of band leadership skills comes to mind when I first laid eyes on Karl Denison…… Frank Zappa . Say what ya want. It’s true as the sky is blue
This is a very true comment. It took me months maybe longer to even process after I saw these guys play. Midnight show at the high sierra music festival about five years ago. Unbelievable.
May I recommend Tedeschi Trucks Band? Susan can sing, and Derek Trucks is like both Allman brothers in the same (partially-reincarnated) body. Their show is like having the Allman Bros. and Earth, Wind & Fire at the same time. Also, somebody mentioned Miles below..Herbie Hancock is still around, and he puts on a show that will blow your mind even past Zappa...he walked us all through a 7-part harmony. Two separate drum sets...Insane. Also also, Tower of Power is coming back around..
