How can you pickpocket in hew's bane if you do not have the DLC? You essentially cannot zone-in to do the achievement that will entitle you for the free DLC

You don’t have to be in Hews Bane to pick the pocket, any pocket will do.

I'm very tempted to do thieves guild as a warden but I'm not sure.

It’s a bit harder but you totally can. Stacking up on invisibility potions will help as well.
