What's funny, most of these guys have a distilled spirits license. They just act like they're moonshiners. I'll admit, they probably were outlaws years ago, but with discovery Channel, they had to be lawful only because of cameras. You're catching multiple felonies from a TV show if you didn't have a license. Also, mark and digger have their own liquor in liquor stores lol, I've seen it myself. I buy aged whiskey, I don't know if I like white lightening (unaged liquor for you guys who don't know what that means), im a fan of aged bourbon. Mark and Digger definitely have a license.

But the point is, Is that they have contracts setup so they can’t be snitched in by the broadcasters or the film crew. 128 shots in a gallon. since its 2x as strong as normal vodka or whiskey its like 256 normal shots so a bar could buy a gallon for 160 then water it down or dilute with flavorings and sell 256 shots for 2.50$ each and bam 640$ a gallon -cost of 160 and they make 480$ per gallon

apparently some of u ppl dont realize that all moonshine IS NOT 90 to 100 dollars a gallon. only regular corn moonshine is 100 to 110 a gallon all the flavored shines are 150 to 200 to 250 to 300 a gallon. learn ya facts ppl.

Its very popular in the Punjab, India where its commonly made from molasses (sugarcane). Its generally around the 70/80% proof range. Most spirits are around the 40/45% range.

you have to consider the alcohol content (which you cannot find that high in stores). some of these are 70-80%, which some people even dilute 2 times with water (to get around 40%). so when you buy a gallon of 80% moonshine is like buying 2 gallons of whiskey or vodka or any other liquor (capped at 40%) from the store.
I think it's hilarious this whole thing there is no way in hell anyone would pay mark and digger. Seriously what the hell he's even paying them for, I would of told them to f off.
And you would also make little to no money. They have the reputation and influence on their turf and you would be lucky to sell any moonshine. Mike blew up their still into a literally fireball. He had to pay otherwise Mike might as well go to the other side of the state at least to make a profit.
