I lost my wife 3 months ago suddenly with no warning and this song was the first piece of music that I listened to after losing her. She was 30 and had so much to live for. I wish I could tell you her entire story but I could go on for days talking. Thank you for sharing this with all those with this unimaginable pain. Through mental health and all that other stuff! My mom is my best friend and my angel she helped me though so much through out my my 17 years on this world and I'm still grateful for her. My son passed away from cancer this past Tuesday afternoon. I didn’t see this song but my fingers did. I looked down and there it was. Someone wanted me to hear this. Monday February 6, 2023. Can you believe it’s been almost three years since I had to say goodbye to only hero I knew. My heart is still waiting for him to walk through the door, but I know he’s waiting for me as much as I’m waiting for him. Maybe I’m delusional, but I’d swear I heard him say, ‘I love you, mom’. I miss you, Kaleb, as much today as I did when you left; maybe more. I’m just waiting on Jesus. I just hope you’re happy and loved. I am so sorry for your loss. We lost our 22 year old daughter on May 22. 2021. I also came close to losing my dad. He is doing better now. He had covid even with being fully vaccinated. He will be on oxygen for the rest of his life. I had my first birthday on November 7th without her. Even if she was mad at me she would always call, or come over. This song always hits me hard. However listening to it brings me comfort that she is with the angels and I will see her again.

I read these comments, not to see other people’s hurt. But by reading them, I realised that the hurt of losing someone never disappears, we only learn to live with it. I lost my father in 2004, but still cries when I hear these type of songs, 16 years later. Because crying helps me remember all the good he left me, and how I sometimes stuff that up as well. They say God puts things in your life for a reason. My husband went into the hospital the day after Thanksgiving and passed a week later at 47. While he was there this song came on my feed and it has been my anchor over the last month since his death. My 4, 6, and 10 year old all love hearing it and will ask for their daddy's sad song. I am very sorry for your loss Brittany and I sure wish I knew the reason..I lost both my sons ( 37 and 47 yr old of covid) and I couldn't even be there. What reason would a God have. Can you imagine dying alone with no one that loved you even be there.Imagine how scary it must have been. I guess Gods reasons weren't enough yet because then my best friend of 40 years and my lil' dog Abby passed away. All of this happened in 8 days from December 10, 2021 to Dec 17, 2021..then our great nephew who was 9 months old passed away in October 2022 ... I have lost friends over all this happening and I understand that until it ever happens to them there is no possible way for them to know how I feel and I get that.. but the calls stopped, the visits stopped, was told to "snap out of it" "quit going to the cemetery all the time" etc etc...when I saw my sons names on those headstones for the first time was the absolute worst gut wrenching feeling I ever felt. Then I knew, it was real .....At times I feel like I'm in a hole and cant't climb out. it's been nearly 13 months and it is a little better..it comes and goes. Music helps more than anything. When my son died 3 weeks after his 22nd birthday the hurt was so deep I couldn't speak. This song put into words the sorrow, loss, question (why???) and hope I feel. It's been 3 years and the pain has numbed but the emptiness remains. This song, these lyrics, still express what is in my heart - my son was a gentle hero and God must have needed him, an angel since birth, a champion who risked himself to help others, to stand by His throne. Words can never explain what the deepest sympathies for your loss. I lost my son the day after Christmas 6 years ago. He was born day before thanksgiving and God called him a month and 3 days later. He has his siblings up there and my mother. Much love for it never fully goes away the pain will always sting when the mile markers in life. My son took his life last October. He was 17yrs. old. He wrestled with anxiety and depression. He tried so hard to fight these demons. He was kind and compassionate. He was extremely sensitive. This could be good and bad because he felt pain intensely. He was empathic and often took on other people's hurt. I know he finally has peace. I however, would give anything to hug him again and hear his voice, his sweet laughter. Love your children and all those that you care about. Life is fragile. Be kind to others as we all have our hurts.

At 94, my Mom grew her angel wings on 8/02/24. Raised 5 of us on a secretary's income. I'm glad to have watched this video, and know I will watch it again to remind myself of the sacrifices she made over the years. My father passed away 30 days before. They were married 60 years and I truly believe she died of a broken heart. I lost my husband to Stage 4 Lower Esophageal Cancer. It's been 22 months, and it's been a rough road. He was only 43. We held hands 99% of the time while he was in the hospital his last 7 weeks of his life. Our kids are currently 21, and the twins will be 19 in July. It's hard to start this "new" life. My only brother passed away on Sept 2nd this year, 11 days before his 40th birthday something my family and I were very much looking forward to celebrating he was my parents first born and my heart aches for my parents. My brother left behind two precious children that my heart break for. No parent should ever have to bury their baby and no young child should have to bury their parent. it's been a very challenging time, but God needed him more than we did. And I'm at peace with that. my brother took a piece of my heart with him and I miss him so much ❤️❤️❤️.
My mother passed away suddenly on Sept 21,2023. She was the care taker for everyone. She never went to dr unless she needed an antibiotics shot but that was rare. She only took Tylenol for everything. She asked us on Wed the 20th to come visit them that weekend in Missouri. The next day we got the call she passed away suddenly with no signs of a massive heart attack. My mom was my best friend my everything. This song brings me comfort and tears each time I listen to it. Just knowing one day we will gather around the Throne together gives me peace.

I am very sorry for your loss Brittany and I sure wish I knew the reason..I lost both my sons ( 37 and 47 yr old of covid) and I couldn't even be there. What reason would a God have. Can you imagine dying alone with no one that loved you even be there.Imagine how scary it must have been. I guess Gods reasons weren't enough yet because then my best friend of 40 years and my lil' dog Abby passed away. All of this happened in 8 days from December 10, 2021 to Dec 17, 2021..then our great nephew who was 9 months old passed away in October 2022 ... I have lost friends over all this happening and I understand that until it ever happens to them there is no possible way for them to know how I feel and I get that.. but the calls stopped, the visits stopped, was told to "snap out of it" "quit going to the cemetery all the time" etc etc...when I saw my sons names on those headstones for the first time was the absolute worst gut wrenching feeling I ever felt. Then I knew, it was real .....At times I feel like I'm in a hole and cant't climb out. it's been nearly 13 months and it is a little better..it comes and goes. Music helps more than anything. God bless everyone here who lost someone they loved and Rest In Peace to all those we lost

When my son died 3 weeks after his 22nd birthday the hurt was so deep I couldn't speak. This song put into words the sorrow, loss, question (why???) and hope I feel. It's been 3 years and the pain has numbed but the emptiness remains. My son took his life last October. He was 17yrs. old. He wrestled with anxiety and depression. He tried so hard to fight these demons. He was kind and compassionate. He was extremely sensitive. This could be good and bad because he felt pain intensely. He was empathic and often took on other people's hurt. I know he finally has peace. I however, would give anything to hug him again and hear his voice, his sweet laughter. Love your children and all those that you care about. Life is fragile. My only brother passed away on Sept 2nd this year, 11 days before his 40th birthday something my family and I were very much looking forward to celebrating he was my parents first born and my heart aches for my parents. My brother left behind two precious children that my heart break for. No parent should ever have to bury their baby and no young child should have to bury their parent. it's been a very challenging time, but God needed him more than we did. And I'm at peace with that. my brother took a piece of my heart with him and I miss him so much ❤️❤️❤️.

My mother passed away suddenly on Sept 21,2023. She was the care taker for everyone. She never went to dr unless she needed an antibiotics shot but that was rare. She only took Tylenol for everything. She asked us on Wed the 20th to come visit them that weekend in Missouri. The next day we got the call she passed away suddenly with no signs of a massive heart attack. My mom was my best friend my everything. This song brings me comfort and tears each time I listen to it. Just knowing one day we will gather around the Throne together gives me peace.

My deepest condolences to you on the lost of your mom .I lost my November 12th 1976 of Ovarian Cancer at 55 her birthday was December 20th almost 56 and I wish I still had her but she is a better place no more suffering and hopefully one day I will join her in Heaven
