As someone who played elden ring first and then did the dark souls trilogy.. Elden ring may be a bit harder overall but it’s more forgiving if that makes sense. Rest points are a huge example. Ds1 and ds2 primarily in my opinion have some of the longest spaces between rest areas. But congrats beating the first boss so soon. Ngl it took me more tries than I’d like to admit lolol
