She is a singer, a writer, a composer, a multi instrumentalist, a soulful story teller, speaks very good English although her first language is Bahasa Indonesia. Putri can sing Dangdut genre songs, can recite the Qoran beautifully, can sing Hindi songs, Malay songs, Mandarin songs, Indonesian ethnic songs-Acehnese/Javanese songs. She has a very good public speaking. So Putri has many references in her memory. No wonder she can sing anything and adjust to her tastes/knowledge/feelings.

My man...A little backdrop on that vocal tremble or flutter...That was INTENTIONAL...It is an ETHNIC vocal technique in traditional South Asian (Indian-Pakistani-Nepali-Sri Lankan), SE Asian (Indonesian-Javanese-Balinese-Malaysian), Arabic, and Amazigh songs. The vocal tremble/flutter represents high emotion in all those cultures. Indian singers Lata Mangeshkar and her sister Asha Bhonsle used this vocal tremble/flutter quite often in their most popular songs. Vanny Vabiola has also used this technique in a few of her native language songs. Putri included it in an Irish (English language) song.... An inspired improvisation on her part.
Travis, that’s what I worry about too. Maybe her support team can explain to her that the average American is not going to understand that it’s a high level skill.
I can't even produce that kind of sounds😂 I literally losing my voice the second tried that. But I do understand the perspectives of all people who think it's a mistake. So it's a "mistake" only professional singer can do 😂.
