Not true. Trestaman/Marcus Brady are the passing specialist coaches bc Roman is historically terrible at passing. Both of those guys come from systems that have hyper focused number 1 WR's. If Herbert falls in love with him Ladd he can a poor man's K.Allen top 10-15 WR. Not saying that's going to happen, but the ceiling is there.

your analysis on kliff kingsbury/kyler/jayden is so wrong let me help, jayden daniels is an awesome runner but was the worst passer of the 1st round qbs I charted last year, dudes going in the 7th round like Pratt were better passers. Sam Howell is a better passer and honestly a good, underrated runner. Daniels takes some absolutely silly hits and is a mess in the pocket like Howell. Howell was so incredible at times last year fantasy wise, he was my #1 sleeper QB target and it paid off for like the first 11-12 weeks but overall a bad qb. Daniels could hit those highs but the injury risk is much worse, the ceiling as a passer is worse and if he gets banged up then he wont have the green light to run anymore. Secondly, lets talk about the offensive poison that Kliff is, USC was tragically bad last year offensively, people were so mad at their defensive coordinator and rightfully so but no one was mad at Lincoln Riley for putting together his most disjointed, trainwreck of an offense ever and well it coincides with Kliff's one year there. Kliff is awful, he killed Kyler's MVP chances time and time again by having no idea what he is doing from a playcalling and personnel perspective that Kyler was playing hero ball all the time and that got him hurt all the time while being a safe, smart runner like Lamar. Imagine if Lamar took massive hits, he would not be this perennial MVP candidate like he is, Daniels needs to dramatically change his running style to not lose half his season to injuries. Daniels is going to be playing in a talented and high output offense just by the nature of how Kliff runs things. But I dont know if Daniels will be at all confident in anything Kliff calls, I certainly wouldnt be. This will likely lead to a lot of hero ball and a lot of hits sustained by Daniels and unlike Kyler, Daniels isnt some super creative passer and broken down plays will not be turned into big gains at nearly the same rate, let alone no or small gains.

Yes you can. For example: The first time I ever drafted a rookie WR as my WR #1 was Randy Moss. He ended up getting like 1,300 yards and 17 TD catches. Since then over the years, I've had numerous rookie WR's who I had either as my WR#1 or #2.
