Kpop it's becoming more common to debut minors as well and most of the fans are not happy about it, but then they "support" them, because they put out good music. But I don't think adult topics in "kids" anime is uncommon, as I was reading about how another "kids" anime, PriPara, people were not happy about how the characters were being sexualized in a kids anime when they appeared in bathing suits, also how they wear "thigh garters" kind of is a bit inappropriate for a children's show and also how the character is a minor
But if we are talking about it dealing with other serious topics, just look at episodes 139-143, aka the eggification arc. They were not dubbed into English, but they cover a global tragedy and curse on tamagotchi planet that turns everyone into eggs, and eventually everyone will lose their personalities and become blank white eggs. Along with that, a character who we had known for a while now, Kizunatchi, was getting weaker due to the eggification. And while there is a happy ending, where Kizunatchi evolves and breaks the curse, the episodes leading up to that are still very dark and serious, and Kizunatchi even almost dies in the finale due to being overpowered. So the show also covers death in a way. Also in extension to the other guy saying Lovelitchi’s parents are exploiting her, they definitely are not, in fact it’s more likely that it’s TamaPtchi, director of TAMAX-TV that is exploiting her in a way, as it’s been shown that he acts flirty towards Lovelin in a way.
The dubbing of the voices, the choice of the houses and the situations, it's really hard work and a complete creation, I think I have good ideas for the illustrations

If I remember correctly, I think part 1 of episode 9 was "Watch Out! Anpan Detective is Here!" in English and part 2 was almost the same as your translation, except Papillon was spelled Papiyon and there was the word "it" between "right" and "there". Part 1 of episode 26 also had "Is He a Myth?" instead of "Mackerel!?"
I'm 29 and grew up with the major tamagotchi craze of the early 2000s, I had 3 of the tama connects, and was even a big fan of anime back then, but thanks to growing up in the boonies, I had no internet or cable so I'm only discovering they made a show too just now! Coincidentally, I was just looking up the new Tama unis that came out this past year, so I've had Tamas on the brain since yesterday, and then I find this today?! So cool!
Does that apply to all versions? I think one TH-camr had his/her account destroyed due to uploading Tamagotchi in Japanese. Maybe it still runs in Japan or Bandai might not care about the anime unless it is the original Japanese version.

To be honest, it isn’t weird. As I continued watching this video, I have noticed that Tamagotchi isn’t as “childish” as you might think... (I am including almost anything related to Tamagotchi) There is at least one reference to Hell in the anime, deaths of characters on virtual pets, a character who might ACTUALLY BE SUFFERING ABUSE FROM HER OWN PARENTS, a pretty dark backstory of Lovelin involving mental abuse of children (Apparently Mametchi and others that are considered “adults” in VP are kids in the anime), and an episode involving scary pirate-like dummies likely to frighten little kids in the anime. Seriously, when you stop and think about what is going on at some points, this franchise is actually really messed up. This is all I know of right now, I haven’t viewed everything.

While Spongebob & co are written as adults (living their own lives, working, etc.) with child traits (Jellyfishing, acting plain silly, etc.), the main Tamagotchis might be written as children (living with family, going to school, etc.) with adult traits (taking part in full-time jobs, mostly being independent of their parents, even driving in some episodes)

If I remember correctly, I think part 1 of episode 9 was "Watch Out! Anpan Detective is Here!" in English and part 2 was almost the same as your translation, except Papillon was spelled Papiyon and there was the word "it" between "right" and "there". Part 1 of episode 26 also had "Is He a Myth?" instead of "Mackerel!?"

I'm 29 and grew up with the major tamagotchi craze of the early 2000s, I had 3 of the tama connects, and was even a big fan of anime back then, but thanks to growing up in the boonies, I had no internet or cable so I'm only discovering they made a show too just now! Coincidentally, I was just looking up the new Tama unis that came out this past year, so I've had Tamas on the brain since yesterday, and then I find this today?! So cool!

Does that apply to all versions? I think one TH-camr had his/her account destroyed due to uploading Tamagotchi in Japanese. Maybe it still runs in Japan or Bandai might not care about the anime unless it is the original Japanese version.

To be honest, it isn’t weird. As I continued watching this video, I have noticed that Tamagotchi isn’t as “childish” as you might think...
(I am including almost anything related to Tamagotchi) There is at least one reference to Hell in the anime, deaths of characters on virtual pets, a character who might ACTUALLY BE SUFFERING ABUSE FROM HER OWN PARENTS, a pretty dark backstory of Lovelin involving mental abuse of children (Apparently Mametchi and others that are considered “adults” in VP are kids in the anime), and an episode involving scary pirate-like dummies likely to frighten little kids in the anime.
Seriously, when you stop and think about what is going on at some points, this franchise is actually really messed up.
This is all I know of right now, I haven’t viewed everything.
