I don't know about that 🤣 Seriously though I uploaded this mix a couple of days ago but set to private as not happy with a couple of slightly rough bits, but thought, what the hell? I may as well stick it on anyhow
Great mixing as always! How nice is that Mousse T remix of Say The Word! What were your favourite tracks back in the day off Armand's 2 Future 4 U album? I feel like Flowerz got slightly overshadowed by some other bombs!
Cheers mate 😊 Yes what a remixer Mousse T is . . . So good! We know You Don't Know Me is a legendary tune, but Psychic Bounty Killers, Rock Da Spot are awesome. I would have been 20 years old when this was released and Flowerz sounded like the worst song I'd ever heard! . . . but fast forward years later and it can sound absolutely stunning. One of my favourite tracks now. Do you think your taste in music has or will change over the years?
@SalfordHouseSessions I think Psychic Bounty Killaz was my 'other' favourite track on that LP too. My taste has definitely changed. I actually completely went off house music between 2009-2019, and I still don't really like much that came out of that era. Then during the pandemic, I found my way back. During the pandemic, Glitterbox/Defected reignited the fire, along with artists like Disclosure and Cinthie, and now I'm back in it, waist deep!
@@daniel_z That's great, I think it's really interesting what you say. Similar to my experience really. I learned to mix on turntables about 25 years ago (still learning now) and maybe only a handful of times in many years getting them out and having a go and largely not that fussed until as you mentioned the pandemic then really got into it and got new gear. In those 20 years I always listened to electronic music mixes but also varied bands too.
What a nice surprise to come home from work and have mix ready to listen too ,better than having tea ready thankyou 😅
