POC Ventral Lite helmet review / fitting / anecdotes about unboxing + POC Elite Sunglasses overview

Was going for a ride early one Sunday, realised I'd left my favoured helmet at a different location... and so, finally, I was prompted to talk about the POC Ventral Lite (ie. lightweight - but no adjustable straps around the ears and no MIPS, like the one I've been using... the POC Ventral MIPS).
This is the story before my ride about why I've got a different POC helmet now. You'll see more of it from now on, as it's really quite lovely.

Love my ventral Lite. My first one saved me from serious injury on my second ride with it. 6 stitches later and no memory of the crash only my chin was damaged. The helmet did its job. Best money I ever spent even for only 2 rides. Replaced with the same helmet.

Got them in S (55cm head and narrow) on sale at 30% off from a local store and at that price, I absolutely love ‘em!
