    I am a fortunate man in that I probably could afford one of these machines however it is not built its country of origin such an iconic machine should still be built in or around the East Midlands where the original Machines were manufactured , The current machines are made around the Toulouse area of France which has a similar skilled workforce as let's say Derby which has a huge aerospace infrastructure, The owner has scored a huge goal in that respect.

    I think it's a great compliment to early British engineering and style that the French are paying us- not least by the late Patrick Godet who kept the Vincent brand alive with his love for the bike!

    Many prestigious British brands aren't built or owned by Brits,
    Jaguar/Land Rover - Malaysian (Tata)
    Bentley - German (VW)
    Rolls Royce cars - German (BMW)
    MG - China
    British brands owned outside Britain is nothing new, just be happy that brands like Brough Superior aren't dead.

    As a proud Englishman, my disappointment that Brough's revival is French, is proportional to how beautiful and well made the bikes appear to be. They're stunning. I love them. I'm very disappointed.

    @BN1960 5 ปีที่แล้ว +12

    Hmmm...undoubtedly good engineering but it's not a looker. The proportions are all wrong to my eyes. The tanks don't look right - it's all too steam punk and not reflective of the modern engineering in it.
    Maybe that's what buyers want out of them I don't know but at £50k in the UK I don't think it's aesthetically pleasing enough for me at that money.

    The wind plays havoc with the flags in that part of the world! The angle between those cylinders is two great, ans actually looks greater that 90 degrees. They should have made it 75 or 70 perhaps. It certainly doesn't look beautiful, it looks awkward.

    Seriously...seems like scratches on everything everywhere and the welds didn't look all that impressive, that is not a sign/mark of quality. Seems to me their just trying to cash in on the name, and the Cafe racer fad. What they Should have done is tap Broughs distinguished heritage, and gone for a lil more of a tech-ed up retro touring angle since that's what the original was (touring I mean) just sayin. Straight up ugly, personally I wouldn't spend anyone's money on it!
