Imagine to hear the most brutal kvlt low fi songs sounding so calm like watching the rain from your window. Black metal on a piano can make the toughest person cry 🙏
I'm pretty sure they're crying because all of their fathers just found out they were gay. You'd cry, too. I'm sure it's a lot to deal with all at once. The only person who could tell us for sure is Oystein, and he's not running his mouth nearly as much these days. Thanks, Varg. You did the World a bigger favor than you could possibly know that night in Oslo.
Incredible. Haunting. Engaging. Skillful. And mostly, the representation of Black Metal shows the true artistic power of these musicians, and this genre. Just …. incredible.
It's really amazing to experience these haunting tunes on an absolutely different instrument and still capture their original character. Transilvanian hunger is one of those riffs you just never forget and that puts you in a trance whenever you listen to it. Like Burzum's ''Glemselens Elv'' and many others.
These piano covers have a whimsical and beautiful feel. It feels like you're floating under the moonlight, on the surface of a dark lake, far away from everything and everyone. I'm sure people will love the piano covers no matter how far they are from black metal. Thank you very much for these beautiful covers.
This sounds the way I felt when listening to the originals, so good to see others heard it too. And specifically these songs. Okay yep I'm crying, curse these infernal emotions. Stay strong brothers, I love every single one of you
Absolutely love it. Thank you for sharing. My 3 month old son is usually a real pain to try get to sleep but I put this on an he sleeps through the night so thank you 😊

This is cool as fuck to hear! Especially after a chaotic nite at work. This is what I needed to hear. It's amazing because I love black metal and piano, they both go well together , they always have! To me this is some of the best forms of music out there. Anyways thank you for this \m/👹\m/

This is an excellent collection of tributes to Black Metal. One question: You have hereby proven you have a sense for both rhythmic and harmonic impressions Black Metal is capable of leaving on the listener. WHY OH WHY have you left the rhythmic part away until Mgla?
Hi ! Thanks. For 'Exercises In Futility IV' I tried to make it lighter, if I had made it more rhythmic maybe it would lose emotionally. In short, that song is very melodic, I tried to highlight that. I hope I was able to answer your question.
@@blackMetalPiano Please do. Because it's painfully clear from Exercise in Futility, included and onwards, that you can do way better. No really - you rule, man. So rule without relent!

yknow, whichever tracks you have muted "for copyright reasons", e.g., mgla, you can unmute. There is literally nothing these companies can do to you for a piano cover. Seriously. Even the strictest copyrights do not allow for legal action against artistic reinterpretations. Dead serious: you should unmute them. Nothing will happen beyond some stupid automatically generated digital message because its 100% legal in North America & Europe.
Hello ! Thank you very much for the tip. The complaint was not made by the TH-cam algorithm, not even by the band itself, it was a fake account that registered my piano track as its own. It's paradoxal, how piano depicts the harsh metal in general at its peak beauty.

Great Job. Now I see in Black Metal my need of profound harmony. Nothing can take such a storm from that calmness, revealing the extremes.

I'm sure Frederic Chopin was influenced by Nordic black metal.

Oh, my friend, on the list are 2 bands which like Chopin are Polish (Mgła and Batushka). There is also Summoning from Austria.
