Kyle, your vibe in this video was fantastic! I love and seen a lot of other of the Primitive Predators videos and I always thought you to be more stressed for a lack of better words. But I get it you got a lot going on, I can’t wait to see the Amazing outcome of the whole property!!
Kyles mind never rests so therefore the construction never stops! Congrats on the new duties Ryan, don't forget to clean those lil enclosure ponds also! 🤪 🤗
Kyle I like this new side of you. I think you threw off Ryan and your fans. It was hilarious 😂🤣😂 keep it up an let’s see what you have in store for us next! You’ve done something very special for all the animals especially the rescues who’ve had a hard start. Thank you for that heart of gold! Ryan thank you too as I feel you have a caring heart for the animals and that’s why your there helping Kyle. Take care and God bless! ❤️🐢❤️🐊❤️🙏❤️
Fun fact about mountain tortoises and their nesting behavior. Unlike all other tortoises they do not lay deep into the ground or in the ground at all. They collect lead litter, sticks and dirt and make a mound that they lay into. Much like a croc or gator compared to a traditional tortoise. They have even been observed protecting the nest for the first day or few days before losing interest. Im short you will know when they are nesting and laying lol. I have 5 Burmese black mountain tortoises myself.
That’s Super fascinating, wonder why this species of tortoise does this unlike the other tortoise species. A very impressive looking tortoise species, shell shape and the scales on there front limbs are cool physical features, also the colors to.
@@jointcerulean3350 they are neat tortoises. The theory from what I read anyways is that the Mt tortoises genetically is the oldest species of tortoises. Dating back to 205million years ago. They beleive all turtles and tortoises use to lay above ground ans over time all the species either evolved to lay into the ground or died off by natural selection. Seemd like laying in the ground and forgetting them was the more fit way to go and the MT tortoises is old world style. Think most new world tortoises are after 180million years. Interesting fact though the side neck species of turtles are dated back to 250 million years back and only found in the souther hemisphere.
@TortoiseSpot Whoa! I never about knew this, that really cool and very fascinating stuff, thanks again for sharing these cool facts. Wonder if the terrestrial land dwelling horned and clubbed tailed turtles such as meiolania or Ninjemys that convergently evolved similarly to ankylosaurids and Glyptodonts had similar nesting behavior to the Asian mountain tortoise. A cool thought to ponder. Also sidenecks are super rad to, very prehistoric looking with those long necks. It’s quite mind boggling how long turtles and tortoise have been around.
Oh no!! I just found out that being 60 means “decrepit”. Damn, I’m decrepit. 😰😥😭 Even though I’m decrepit, I can still barely see through my old lady eyes that these animals are so gorgeous and well cared for. What a beautiful home you’ve created for these tortoises and it amazes me how well the Sulcata healed. 🐢❤️🐢
Ha ha, I discovered the same thing!! Earlier this summer I was out digging rocks in the hot sun and I thought "oh shit, I turn 60 in a few months!" Now I just sit in my rocker on the porch too feeble to do projects. :D Actually, I'm thinking of maybe selling the house and property and moving to Africa or Cambodia or Equador, somewhere less "civilized" where I can see the incredible biodiversity of Earth at its peak. That's all I want to do anymore. I still have a little time. My grandmother, great-grandmother all lived to be over 100 years old and lived by themselves in their own houses almost up to the end. My mom is 94 and still a cantankerous little witch.
Cool thing about the red footed tortoises is that they are also found on islands on the Caribbean, either from rafting to those island, being introduced in the past, or possibly both. There have been talks and plans for rewilding red footed and even yellow footed tortoise in the Bahamas were an extinct tortoise called the albury’s tortoise used to inhabit before being over hunted on the island, and I believe closely related species were also found in the Dominican Republic and even Cuba. The red footed and yellow footed tortoise would be good taxon substitutes for this extinct island tortoise and would improve the health of the flora by dispersing seeds of native plants and trees that would germinate and grow faster. And another thing that is little know or talked about regarding the Aldabra tortoises is that there are two subspecies or maybe two distinct species of Aldabra tortoise. The Arnold's giant tortoise Aldabrachelys arnoldi, and Seychelles giant tortoise Aldabrachelys hololissa which haven’t received adequate conservation unfortunately, but hopefully that changes soon enough for these little know subspecies or maybe distinct species of Aldabra tortoises.
Would love to know how much money has been spent doing all these projects without a dout world class facilities. Just makes me wonder how much Kyle worth if he can fork out this much for essentially his petts. 😮 I’m not digging him out I’m just jealous 😂 All that aside Iv been subscribed from when you only had a 1000 or so great channel

Thanks for the video.
I’m shocked you’re not at 100,000 sub yet. Great video. Can’t wait till open to public
Brian Barczyk has a tortoise named speedy too! The one that has roamed BHB for years.
Please make a video on all your dog's love from India ❤️🇮🇳❤️

Mountain tortoises nest in leaf litter mounds they construct and guard, very much like alligators. If they’re nesting, you’ll know it.
Haha exactly what I said. Missed this comment. You will know they are nesting indeed
That’s really cool
I loved this video soo much thanks for sharing you to crack me up especially when you are hot and grumpy lol
Speedy isn't that one of Brain Barczyk's tortoises name. Does anyone know 🤔
What happened to the new croc greenhouse
Naw I’m on my way. I’ll feed the torts and Ryan can work with crocs with Christian. 👍😝👏👏👏❤️❤️😜🤘🙏

Thank you so much, Glad to share these facts, and thanks for tuning in. 👍
Kyle you do not look 38. I thought at oldest you were 30 and more like 27.
I think it was a joke. Ryan says, “People are going to believe you’re 38 and a half,” suggesting that he probably isn’t.
Ryan that job is awesome. Why were u not happy? Kyle how old are u really? 22-24?
Keep up the great videos
Cool video
I’ll feed the tortoises for 5$ an hour as long as I can pitch a tent outside
Thanks guys
Just make sure to power wash every now and then. Also put a good seal on it
those rubber gloves are silly. especially when you feed the unwashed lettuce from the box. it also makes unnecessary waste.
1st. Love from South Africa 🇿🇦

His family is worth at least a billion according to forbes.
Helps when you're born into a rich family.
Why do people care how much money people have?
