I'm still constantly replaying this album. The writing and arrangements are first class. Riley is a powerhouse and I just love the tone of Sam's voice. I grew up on Fleetwood Mac and this soundtrack fits right in

This entire album is astonishing and contains the magical nostalgia of the 70s. I absolutely love the atmosphere, the lyrical and melodic arrangements. It’s PERFECTION.

Everyone’s talking about the low vocals, meanwhile I’m just over here vibing to my favourite song the album. Remember this is technically a 70’s album, which a lot of the time the songs had low vocal mixing in them.

This song as absolute f'in perfection. From the vocals, especially the background vocals in the second half of the song, to the guitar. The second half really gives that 70's feel. Just wow. I've been rocking out to this album in my car! lol If they ever did a tour there would be a lot of sold out venues. I can't wait to see how this show does at the Emmy's and Grammys. To Riley, you're a rock star with a great voice. You should really consider doing more singing and releasing an album.
The "Baby C'mon" in the backing vocals from 3:31 onwards is easily my favorite part of the song. This song is so underrated.

This song is how i originally imagined "Honeycomb" in the book.
I know Billy and Daisy are supposed to be fictional versions of Lindsey and Stevie but boy, does Billy remind me of Tom Petty. Not in terms of personality, but his voice!
fictional is the perfect word for it. There are no real similarities between this and the actual relationship between Buckingham Nicks.
A little Lynyrd Skynyrd influence in this one also. And jumping to another era Riley channels Alanis a bit in few of those vocals. Editing this...I say more Delores O'Riordan now upon reflection.

Mixing for Riley's voice is awful. Can barely hear her on most of these tracks.

Her voice is pretty clear in her solo efforts (as Daisy) such as Two against Three and several that are on the tv series but not on the Aurora album: It was Always You, By Myself, Nobody Needs. The mixing is different from the rock tracks.

Plenty of acoustic tracks now out and parts of studio rehearsals, etc. where you can hear the quality of Riley's voice. It's solid. The mixing wasn't done to try to hide her voice.
