@@Vicfreezer Trance used to mostly sound similar to techno until it gained its own distinct flavor, techno has generally gotten harder again recently and trance has gotten more 'modern', that is to say it generally focuses on the build ups to big drops for those festival type crowd pleasers. Someone like Charlotte de Witte is bringing trance back its roots.
But yeah, for a while techno was picking up a trance-y vobe to it.
i like how these tracks just keep evolving into new masterpieces. when the originals where just out and the intro hit the soundsystem, everybody in every club, in every illegal tunnel rave, would just drop their drinks and start moving on the dancefloor.
