The globe idea is insanely awesome I would have been completely stumped as to what to do with a huge freakin globe!
You could make 🎼🎵🎵 A whole new world 🌎 or another planet 👽 or the sky and nebula, little satellites and space shuttles and ISS up there. Just me? Or the Earth in the past with dinosaurs, or in the future like WaterWorld. That would be very time consuming though
The animation thing was a cool idea too though. If the globe had bumpy relief on it, then it would have been a little trickier

Ten Hun's work is always so slick, I got a tiny bit of joy out of knowing he's human too and was challenged by airbrushing 😝 I'm doing the Ten Hun Learn Monthly class right now - and wow, it's definitely pushing my squarely outside of my comfort zone. But I love it for that same reason.

loved the animated globe concept! How fun would that be in a classroom for kids! Very inspiring example to "think outside the box". I really appreciated Chelsea's sword, very nice character placement and use of contrasting colors that brought a lovely elegance to the forefront... keep it up girlie!!!

slew has one of the most unique and entertaining art channels on TH-cam I highly suggest everyone to watch him.
Use the air brush like a spray paint can its best to have the piece your painting upright not laying flat. For your first go you did a great job. Next piece hang it to paint it. You'll find it easier to get done what aiming for.

It’s definitely worth the time to learn to use the airbrush. Quality equipment will make a big difference though. Get a pump with a tank to have smoother air flow, and get a dual-action brush to have a lot more control (up/down controls air flow, forward/backward controls paint flow).

Having airbrushed for years let me tell you that once you get the hang of it you will love it.
Friskets or stencils will be your friend.
Any particular online resources you'd recommend? I have the equipment, even some stencils/friskets but ooooh boy I ain't got the skills yet! (And yes, I realise that practice will be a bit part of it... :D )
@@tangerinejukebox I’m not sure if there are any online resources. I’m self taught as I was unable to find anything when I started either.
I did used to teach beginner classes at an art/craft store back in the day. And it truly is all about the practice. Which airbrush do you have and what type of compressor?
I learned from online tutorials.
@@babbetto1 I've got the Iwata Power Jet Pro compressor, an Iwata Eclipse CS and Iwata Hi-Line, so I'm sorted for equipment. I just need to find a way to practice without choking on fumes indoors, now that it's too cold to take it outside. :D
@@tangerinejukebox The Iwata brand is a great brand. They’ve come up with new guns that I’m not familiar with though. I would highly recommend practicing with some cheap water based paint that won’t choke you out working indoors but definitely wear a mask of some sort regardless.
One of the best practices to do to get the hang of your trigger control is to do a series of equal spaced and sized dots on cloth. T-shirt material works great for this. Then practice your line control by connecting those dots randomly.
I'm not good
at airbrushing but I've done a couple surf boards. One was a skeleton pirate and one was R2D2, took me way longer to do them then it should have hahaha. Once to get the hang of using one hand with a shield or stencil and the other with the airbrush you can do super cool stuff.
That a genius idea of the action globe! Pretty fun! And nice touch of colour . You should do more challenge like this
Dude airbrushing is HARD starting out, but after much practice and you get to control it you feel like a god

The sword and your willingness to try new art supplies and techniques got me thinking. You should do a wood carving of one of your characters. I love to Dremel tool wood pieces and I think you would too. Love u bud.
Hey ten hun I have to say you really did your think on both pieces. It would’ve been nice to see you Challenge yourself with the airbrush. But you do have to practice with an airbrush you can’t master it over night. Chelsea pieces was amazing too. I didn’t know she was that nice. I loved all 3 pieces

Just started watching you 2 weeks ago. I subscribed and binge watched all your stuff. Very inspiring man!
I have to admit I was a tiny bit surprised with the trouble you had picking up the airbrush. For me painting with a computer is EXACTLY the same as airbrush. When I switched from airbrushing to computer it was a completely natural transition and the bonus, there was no clean up or mask wearing.
Long ago before the computer sucked up my creative soul, I airbrushed for many years. I would do a lot of fabric painting "freehand" (shirts and jackets) and would also do illustrations using masking (Frisket. A brand name pretty sure). Masking didn't have to be "sticky" masking, just lots of curvy shapes cut out of stiff plastic held at various distances from surface to change the hardness or softness.
That globe ROCKS!!!

All 3 were cool, but... The globe is supper dope. It's just diff. At first I was disappointed you did not color in the dudes, then when S opened it up and I got a second look, love.
