Kelsey Animated im sorry for your stroke! Yesterday i felt Terrible, i had a huge bad headache and i felt nauseous. I started vomiting. i went to the doctor, and they did a dip on me. Im 11 and I've never felt this before. it felt weird and painful for 30 minutes
When I was around twelve my dad had a stroke while driving to the grocery store and went missing for a week before popping up in a hospital three towns over. I was a kid so I didn’t really understand what was happening or why it was so scary, I just knew my dad was different after that. It was a very severe stroke- his brain was pretty much permanently rewired. For a long time he either couldn’t sleep or would sleep for a whole day at a time, he would stutter badly and his speech was generally slurred and difficult to understand, among a lot of other things. It was very hard for him, and very hard for my family as well. That was almost six years ago now, and he’s made a full recovery. He’s not the same as he was before, of course, but he’s not suffering anymore. He recovered for the most part within around two years- he used to not be able to play video games, but recently he’s been able to again which is exciting, because it means he’s gotten a lot better! Basically what I’m trying to say is that though I don’t understand what you’re going through myself, I know how hard and how scary it can be for you and for others. It will probably be really frustrating but it will get better! I’m not really sure what else to say shfjicbfk but I just hope you can make a swift and easy recovery all the way. Thanks for your content and I’m glad you’re still around! ♥️
My best friends dad had a stroke on the stairs and he fell down them. He was in hospital for three months and could not walk or talk. Yesterday I saw him walk for the first time.

I've never seen your channel before. But your video got me kinda sad. I cant imagine what that would be like. I'm glad you're here and I hope you're doing okay.
Dominic Maldonado Well it was actually not that bad. I had a hot blanket on and it kinda felt like you were peeing yourself weirdly enough. But overall not that bad.
Civice Octopato yup. this person right here got a rare birth defect and my esophagus is connected to a tube it shouldn’t!! ( the name is like aberrant right subclavian artery I’m pretty sure ) On top of that I also got EoE ( also quite rare!! yippe. )
I had a stroke when I was 3 and it was even scarier for me because my grandpa died of one earlier that year. well anyway, I was paralyzed on my left side and I still have parcel paralyzation. (so my left hand is even more useless) the stroke also gave me brain damage so now I have mood swings, which didn't help with the seizures, although they're not that bad and I just freeze up. and now I take meds for them and I haven't had one in 3 years. so yes I agree that a stroke is a good reason to take a break from youtube. I also love your videos.
clinic: **says shes ok and nothings wrong** her mom: aw shit, here we go *To Another Clinic* edit: HOLY HELL I DIDDNT KNOW THIS WOULD GET SO MANY LIKES
i’m only 19 and about 3 weeks ago i had a heart attack. they thought i’d been on drugs since it was the day after st patrick’s day, they were pretty rude to me, so i left the hospital and they called me to come back immediately. i had an angiogram done (they put a wire through a major artery into my heart) and found that i have a weak valve due to a heart condition. it was some scary shit.
Reanna Montano doctors sometimes judge you since you're a teen. I've been not being able to stand (fainting) and went to the er. They were implying I was anorexic and treating me like a needy teen. Annoying.
ugh doctors didn’t take me seriously either when i went to the ER last week (i’m 20)...they automatically assumed drug use or pregnancy and were really rude to me even asking why i went to the ER instead of a regular doctor...went to another doctor and found out i had a stomach ulcer and celiac disease
As someone who did theatre--we often translate it to the opposite side so that way it matches to the audience's perspective, not necessarily the real side. :)
It isn't so much as perfection as it is the art of illusion/pandering to the audience. :) Now if you wanna see wrong, one of my favorite game franchises (Dragon Age) has your main character using a different hand in game as it is on the artwork of the game itself. That's a real mess up. 😂
I ended up going to the ER one night after my hands began trembling. Just holding a full bottle water made my hands tremble, same for half full. Felt faintish and fatigue as well. Turns out my potassium level was low. This was a day or two after I went to bed w/ a fever of 101°. Wasn’t convinced something was wrong until the faint spells and trembling hands . On the way to the hospital, I brace myself for bad news. Only to hear my potassium was low. After a few hours hooked up to an IV machine. I went back to my old self (after getting home and sleeping). You would think eating two bananas every two days, was enough to prevent my low potassium level.
Wow I’m so glad you’re ok! Must’ve been scary :c and for me I felt very warm, tired and dizzy. At first it was just my vision going bad but I didn’t think of it much cause I figured I just need new prescription glasses which I told my mom. Then I noticed I was drinking A LOT. At some during a night I decided to eat ice cream and I felt my tongue sting but I didn’t think much of it and went to sleep. I woke up not feeling hungry and when I did try to eat I legit COULDNT swallow anything. When I tried to drink anything it stung my tongue so bad it felt like I had so many cuts on my tongue. The only thing I could drink was milk and water. My fam was worried af and I didn’t want to tell them how I was feeling cause I had no insurance at them time. And I didn’t want to burden them with paying the bills and everything. Which was obviously my biggest mistake. A few more days pass by and we went to the zoo cause my uncles work gave him tickets to head to the zoo. And it’s pretty hot that day I couldn’t stand it at all I was not looking forward to it. I was miserable the whole time and my fam said I looked like I was sick but I just complained it was the heat, cause honestly I hate summer and the heat is just a no to me. But once we were home I spent my day in my room which is in the basement and it’s pretty cool there and I was feeling a little better. But when night time came I was at my limit. I couldn’t sleep at all or get comfortable I even tried to sleep in the living room area in the basement and the last thing I remember I was just laying on the couch where more of the cool was. Next thing I remember was coming back into consciousness and hearing my uncle, feeling him hold my hand, and paramedics. I couldn’t open my eyes but I was able to realize during those few seconds that I was being rushed to the hospital. I then open my eyes sometime later and I’m on a bed and doctors and nurses are around me talking to each other and my fam and I couldn’t understand much but I was talking to them too in a very lethargic way. Then I heard that they had to do surgery on me to check the inside of me for something (I don’t know what and I don’t wanna ask cause it honestly just cause tears and I don’t wanna have my family remember that dreadful day TwT) all I know is that they feared I had something bad inside my chest but it turned out to be a false alarm and now I have a large scar on my back -w- but after I woke up from the surgery I was a bit panicky on where I was and I looked around to see if my family was anywhere in sight and they sadly weren’t since it was night time. The next day they came to visit but I was so tired from all this happening I spent most of my time sleeping. Apparently I was there for like a week. Later throughout that week I was told that I was VERY dehydrated, had a bad infection and that I also ended up getting diabetes,Me being a sweet tooth I was so upset but obviously greatfull I was alright. Just remembering waking up and seeing my arms and hands so bruised up from what they had to stick in me for medicine and insulin was scary enough. I couldn’t eat at all cause of my diabetes so they had me tube fed for a good while until I was confirmed that I was making progress on recovery that I was moved to a different area and was finally able to eat and drink normally. I couldn’t walk though or move much from my surgery and the infection was on my feet so when I was told to try to walk at least a little with their help, I struggled with how much pain I get on my left leg. I couldn’t feel it and if I did it was that numbing pain. But at the end of the day I managed to get better and leave sooner than they expected me to. My family was very greatful that I pulled through. I am as well cause I didn’t want that to be the last time they had to see me. Sadly that’s how my dad passed away with a different condition. We all didn’t give him a proper goodbye and we didn’t spend as much time with him that last day we had with him. I have made healthier choices since that day. That day was a scary wake up call.
Edwi • omg I was only 6 when it happened to me. Luckily I showed all the signs and it was found very quickly. Unfortunately they never did find the root cause soo.... Yeah.. that's fun!
@@meganmanley9515 they never found a cause for mine either. I had a seizure in school (I never had one before or after) and everybody thought I was acting up.
Edwi • I was at home playing Mario kart on the Wii when it happened. My dad found me lying on the floor. My parent though I was having some kind of fit too.
@@meganmanley9515 I can only imagine. They told me if I stayed home that day I would've died (because I was home alone). It's the worst feeling having someone think you're having a fit while something is actually wrong with you.
I have never watched or heard of you but I am SO glad you're alive. Also seeing your style somehow made me have confidence so now I might make my own animation
Oh my god... I’m terrified of this sort of thing as my family has a huge history of strokes and blood clots and in fact a relative had one recently. I’m in a manic episode right now so I can’t focus enough to watch all of this now but I really hope you are okay and manage to recover fully. I once got rushed to the doctors since mum thought I was having a stroke but luckily for me it was just the flu and 2 other illnesses giving me Chronic bell’s palsy (preventing me from controlling half my face and making it drop) and chronic fatigue syndrome.
I had an MRI scan once and I just slept😂 everyone thought I would be scared but when I woke up I just said " why did you wake me up? I was really comfy " Also I'm really sorry you had to go through a stroke...I'm glad that you are well enough to tell us about it and to draw again
I had my lung collapse in school at the age of 17, Through my experience I can only imagine a fraction of what this was like, I'm sorry you had to do through all this. It's hard to put into words what it was like for me, I hope you have people to help you through this like I thankfully did.
I’m sorry for laughing but she when you said about your mom pushed a person down the stairs and the evidence in the fish tank I started crying laughing and I seriously can’t stop help
I literally hate having an mri. I have them all the time, and they give me a drink that makes me feel so sick, and then they put me in this loud ass machine which I already hate because I’m severely anxious, and then like every opening from the waist down burns like I’ve eaten chili. Then I physically die. >:(
6:57 onwards made me laugh, It brought me to tears omfg LMAO. This is ironically one of the funniest videos ever I'm sorry??????. I'm glad you seem to be feeling better, you must've been really scared, great work! thank you for sharing your story! I look forward to part 2.
I remember the MRI- I had to do one when I was younger because of my juvenile arthritis that I still have :( it sucks- cause like, I have to take pills and two shots every week and such, but at least you’re fine and not dead- have a nice day now :)
Kelsey: it's like the strongest person was crushing my head in h_i_s hand Me: WHAT MAKES YOU THINK ITS A "HE" HHHMMMMMM???? Edit: no but seriously I'm glad your okay
PhoenixGaming what is wrong with you??? having a stroke is no laughing matter and just because someone has a different opinion than you *doesnt* mean it’s acceptable to wish a stroke upon someone.
“The tube of death” is an accurate description of an MRI. They are loud, cramped, long, and they put cold dye in your arm, (this is at least my experience, I’ve had several MRIs)
I have had a stroke too that was when i was 4 my blood stoped when i was playing with my doll house and when i passed out and hit my head, leg, minor concussion, brused my bone and sent to the hospital. Im a slow learner i get taken out of class for the tests and i zone out 24/7 i literly started zoneing out today and Aiden (he knows im 504 (what my school calls special kids) he told me i zoned out for like 10mins of the class 😂 at his pencile case im like "ohhhh" then he asks what i think about when i zone and im like "i dont know or rember" then after class i get all the notes my teacher taked of that 10 mins
I never saw anyone portray serious medical condition with comedic elements and I now feel guilty because your style is amazing and I can't stop laughing, please forgive me TwT.
I had leukemia from 2016 to 2019 so it was 10 years old to 13. Let me just say I hate spinal taps, but there my favorite process of going to the doctor. Every other time I go, I get so much medicine put into me, and after wards for like a week, I feel TERRIBLE. When I get a spinal tap though, it all happens while I sleep so I don’t feel anything. When I wake up, I feel like I’m high (even though I don’t know what that feels like). I get sad about everything, i speak nonsense out of my mouth, I say weird things, and I almost never remember any of it. I only know of this because of my mom recording it. I felt great afterwards though, sooooo. In conclusion spinal taps weren’t that bad, and overall gave me real break from all the medicine.

I had a stroke when I was 3 and it was even scarier for me because my grandpa died of one earlier that year. well anyway, I was paralyzed on my left side and I still have parcel paralyzation. (so my left hand is even more useless) the stroke also gave me brain damage so now I have mood swings, which didn't help with the seizures, although they're not that bad and I just freeze up. and now I take meds for them and I haven't had one in 3 years. so yes I agree that a stroke is a good reason to take a break from youtube.

i’m only 19 and about 3 weeks ago i had a heart attack. they thought i’d been on drugs since it was the day after st patrick’s day, they were pretty rude to me, so i left the hospital and they called me to come back immediately. i had an angiogram done (they put a wire through a major artery into my heart) and found that i have a weak valve due to a heart condition. it was some scary shit.
Reanna Montano oof, im hope your doing better.

You’re right!
Glad I wasn't the only one
As someone who did theatre--we often translate it to the opposite side so that way it matches to the audience's perspective, not necessarily the real side. :)
I rest my case. I guess I’m just a stickler for perfection
It isn't so much as perfection as it is the art of illusion/pandering to the audience. :) Now if you wanna see wrong, one of my favorite game franchises (Dragon Age) has your main character using a different hand in game as it is on the artwork of the game itself. That's a real mess up. 😂
I had a similar experience, not a stroke tho. So glad you’re alright now! We’ve missed you!💙💙💙💙
If you dont mind me asking, what was it? Health stuff scares the heck outta me and knowledge is power 💪
@@GuardianDiancie Oh wow that sounds scary- Im glad it was something thats easily manageable!
Omg I was 6 when I had a stroke and I almost died because doctors didn't suspect I had a stroke
Thats crazy, im glad youre okay now
Edwi • omg I was only 6 when it happened to me.

That's so scary! I'm glad you're okay! I hope that whatever issue caused the stroke is being managed!
In conclusion spinal taps weren’t that bad, and overall gave me real break from all the medicine.
how dare u scare us like that :(
But seriously, hope ur ok
