Adding The Great Believers to my tbr... I currently have A Swim in a Pond in the Rain by Saunders on the shelf... Haven't read Lincoln in the Bardo, but most of what I've heard of it was extremely positive!!! Different bubbles of reviewers, I guess.
I loved The Great Believers. What an amazing book! I've never heard of the Ivies, but I will look into it. I have the Midnight Library, but I haven't read it yet. I love Matt Haig, though.
I’ve had Lincoln in the Bardo on my shelf for a long time, been really intimidated by it. Hearing your response to it, I’ll probably give it a shot soon. I like books that challenge what I think in terms of structure, and this definitely seems like on of those.
I just finished The Ivies too and I really enjoyed it. I went to a fancy private high school like Claflin and the mean rich parents/cutthroat students that was soo accurate. Also I’m a huge Alexa Donne fan!
