  • Our company has their annual company picnic and we were able to attend this year. It is a long drive from where I live to Portland but it's worth it. First time for my daughter, my son-in-law, and of course first time for my granddaughters. We were pretty much able to experience being in all of the rides and had a chance to play in the arcade room. Lots of food and they also had different ice cream popsicles. We sure had a blast and I am hoping we can come back again next year.

    From Oaks Amusement Park
"The historic Oaks Amusement Park first opened its gates to excited Portlanders in May 1905. The seasonal amusement park is still a favorite for local families featuring thrill rides, family rides, kiddie rides, mini golf, and midway games. The year-round Oaks Park Roller Rink, located at the north end of the property, is famous for its floating floor and Wurlitzer pipe organ. Picnic spaces are available for outdoor events and The Historic Dance Pavilion is an ideal location for indoor events. The park is located in the Sellwood neighborhood on the banks of the Willamette River and is a non-profit 501(c)3 community resource."
